My 3speaking Today
Hey, what's up, players! Let me send you a warm greeting and express my joy that you’re back here on my 3speak channel and this post : ) . What can I say about today? Well, today has been a pretty quiet day. It’s already Holy Thursday in my country, and as always, after fulfilling my religious duties, I decided to take it easy and organize all the unsorted files and folders on my PC, which were generated during all the assignments for the university semester that just ended for me, since having a PC with files and materials scattered all over my desktop is something that can really cause me a lot of anxiety : / . Then, I fine-tuned the shaders a bit more using the mGBA emulator, achieving a result for this fourth gameplay video in the Warioland II series that I really liked a lot. I made some adjustments to the intensity at which the shader is applied, increasing it from 15% to 20% in this case.
In this fourth Warioland II gameplay video, we’re almost at the exit of our beloved antihero’s castle, as we’re heading down to the lower levels where we’re supposed to face the game’s first boss before we leave. And well, as always, greed turns out to be essential for Wario, ha ha! Because without it, we’d be missing out on collecting lots of coins. That’s why, as you can see during the gameplay, we always try to grab as many coins as possible. In this case, it was essential for securing a treasure during a memory and chest-opening minigame, since we were able to select the speed at which that minigame would run by paying a hefty amount of coins.
Finally, something I really liked during this Warioland II gameplay is that, to get past various obstacles and make progress, I had to use a mechanic as brilliant as letting myself get crushed by one of the enemy bats carrying a giant rock—so that Wario could take on his 'flattened form', if I may put it that way, haha— since, as you can see at the 05:06 mark of the gameplay, only in this form could Wario pass through a gap in the floor without falling to a lower level of the map. Plus, at the 06:30 mark, this squashed mode came in handy again, allowing us to enter a small space that Wario in his normal form could never fit into, and thus gain access to the chest-opening mini-game. And that’s all for today, players. I hope you enjoyed this Wario gameplay, and I’ll see you in the next one. Thanks for your attention and time.
