Hey, what's up, players! Today I am pleased to welcome you to my gaming channel on 3Speak, and even more so when we are approaching the ten video mark of this fantastic Warioland II series for the Game Boy Color that I am carrying out, which keeps getting better and better and which I am enjoying with every episode I bring to the channel. By the way players, today I must inform you that we have changed the texture shader that I had been using in my Game Boy Advance emulator (mGBA), this with the objective of more accurately emulating the original graphics that the Nintendo console intended to give us back in those days. Said shader is the GBA - Color developed by the mGBA users Pokefan531 & Hunterk, which comes included in the shader library available for said emulator in its latest version, that being 0.10.5. This latest configuration applied to the mod brought back the more pixelated appearance in the textures of the games, as opposed to the old shader which refined them greatly to give them a more HD style.
After we dropped the anchor and managed to stop the advance of the SS Tea Cup, our favorite antihero from the Mario Bros universe, Wario, had to make the final journey up to the surface of the stern of said ship in order to face off against what would turn out to be the second boss of the game. In this Story titled 'Defeat Bobo!!' we continue to encounter considerable resistance along the way, but honestly said resistance felt quite diminished in this Story. It felt as though the real difficulty would come at the end of the journey, that being the confrontation with the ship's boss. The good news was that this time we managed to collect all the possible coins in the level, although I must admit that we failed to obtain the additional treasure from the mini game : /
By the way, the boss of this level is an enormous mutant bird called 'Bobo' which truly makes things very difficult for us, especially due to its special attack which is a sort of wing flap that propels us upward and sends Wario flying into the ship's masts, forcing us to make almost the entire journey back to the mutant bird. The way to defeat Bobo is by pressing the down arrow every time it performs its special attack, in order to use Wario's weight and avoid being thrown towards the masts. After mastering this, all we have to do is focus on hitting Bobo's head approximately 6 times in order to defeat it and be able to disembark from the ship and reach the woods, as can be seen starting from minute 09:55 of the gameplay : ) . By the way, despite the failure to obtain the additional treasure of this Story, we finally managed a victory in the guessing game and thus obtained another part of the final portrait. Well, with nothing more to say, I bid you farewell as always, thanking you for your time and the support of this my gaming channel on 3Speak. Cheers, players.
