The easiest way to keep them alive is simply by using the Quickhack "System Reset", this hack specifically incapacitates a target without killing them. This is ideal for the Cyberpsycho missions and makes a 100% success with bonus pay easy to achieve within seconds. You can smoke a joint while executing this hack its so easy.
