Playing as Venezuela in this Freeciv session has been intense. Due to my expansionist and wartime policies, the diplomatic status of my republic is practically at war with almost every other civilization. While most of the actual fighting and armed conflict has been directed at the Dahomeans, the general atmosphere is one of constant tension. Managing an autocracy in a world where many nations see you as a threat requires balancing military strength with the management of the few active alliances remaining.

In the midst of this global hostility, some alliances have managed to survive. On the same continent where my capital is located, the French nation remains a key partner. Even though they are behind in terms of technology and logistics, they are still a very good commercial ally. Recently, they sent settlers across the continent to establish small colonies near several Venezuelan cities. Instead of seeing this as a territorial provocation, I view it as a great opportunity to increase trade and strengthen our economic ties.

I also maintain a positive diplomatic relationship with the Akwe tribe, located near Brazil. They are a small nation with limited technology, but we have established good intelligence sharing and mutual agreements. However, the rest of the regional landscape is far from peaceful. Brazil has refused to sign any peace treaty, as has Peru. And of course, there is Dahomey, whose rivalry remains the main obstacle to territorial stability in the north.

Current gameplay is a balance between military power and the benefits of trade. While I prepare for the next strike against my rivals, keeping these windows of cooperation open ensures that the economy doesn't collapse under the weight of total war. For now, I will continue to focus on my borders and ensure that my allies remain stable while I deal with those who refuse to negotiate. This organized and disciplined approach is what allows the republic to keep moving forward despite having so many enemies.

Jugar con Venezuela en esta sesión de Freeciv ha sido intenso. Debido a mis políticas bélicas y expansionistas, el estatus diplomático de mi república es de guerra con casi todas las demás civilizaciones. Aunque la mayoría de los combates reales y el conflicto armado se han dirigido contra los dahomeanos, el ambiente general es de una tensión constante. Aunque están rezagados en términos de tecnología y logística, siguen siendo un muy buen aliado comercial. Hace pocos turnos, enviaron colonos a través del continente para establecer pequeñas colonias cerca de varias ciudades venezolanas. En lugar de ver esto como una provocación territorial, lo considero una gran oportunidad para aumentar el comercio y fortalecer nuestros lazos económicos.

También mantengo una relación diplomática positiva con la tribu Akwe, ubicada cerca de Brasil. Son una nación pequeña y con una tecnología limitada, pero hemos establecido un buen intercambio de inteligencia y acuerdos mutuos.
