The stream has ended but you can view the VOD recording down below.
It was really cool returning to Dark Souls after so long. Even though Demon's Souls is where soulsborne games started this is where they really found their success. Even today, 12 years later, it's still easy to see why this game was, and still is, loved. There's so many levels of quality that other games simply doesn't have.
We made a fair bit of progress in todays stream. I basically cleared out the entire Undead Burg and took down the two bosses that were in my way. I could probably have gotten further if I played efficiently but I'm in no rush to finish this game at all. I've forgotten so much about it that it kind of feel slike I'm discovering parts of the game for the first time.
Next time I need to beat down that damned Capra demon and his two dogs. They're rough.

Yesterday I finished Demon's Souls which marked the first game in my full soulsbourne marathon. I'm going to be playing through all the soulsbourne games including Sekiro in chronological order all on stream. That means the good ol' Dark Souls is up next.
I haven't played Dark Souls since it released on the Xbox 360 almost 12 years ago. I'm excited to see if I still got what it takes to conquer this game. I remember a few bits about the game but there's still a lot of things I'll have to rediscover. I also never played the Artorias DLC so
I'm excited to try that out once we get there as well.
The biggest challenge I think will be overcoming the dated graphics. This is a huge downgrade after having played the aesthetically fantastic Demon's Souls remake. Luckily this game is of such high quality in all other aspects that I'm sure I can see past it.
