The stream has ended but you can view the VOD recording down below.
Capra demon went down on my first attempt! Who would have thought. I continued on to clear out the sewer area of the castle which went rather well. Only one or two death sin the whole area including the Gaping Dragon boss which went down on my first attempt. I'm surprised at how little I remembered of this area. It's like a total blank in my memory except for the boss.
I went on to Blighttown after this which was just as horrendous as I remembered. Absolutely horrendous location. All the jumping and annoying enemies just make it a hellscape. I made it all the way down though which means that we're ready to face Quelag in the next stream. Stay tuned! Should be in a few days.

Time to dive back into Dark Souls to bang my head against the Capra Demon some more. This boss gave me so much gried when I played the game all those years ago. I might turn around and go exploring the other way to collect some souls if I can't take him down in the first few attempts. If I level up some I can start using the zweihänder which will most likely come in handy. I should also have enough upgrade materials to get it up a few levels hopefully.
That's where the beauty of Dark Souls sets in though. Thanks to the huge interconnected world you can just go somewhere else for a while as an alternate route. The whole point of defeating the Capra Demon is to get to Blighttown through the sewers but technically I could just get there using my master key and going through the Valley of Drakes. Let's see where we end up.
