This part didn't come right after the prologue that I showed in the last post, there were some fighting scenes afterwards and this fighting lesson came in the middle, its kind of a flashback. I enjoyed this lesson a lot especially for the beautiful surroundings so I decided to talk about this in a separated post and here I am.
You'll watch me fight as Jin Sakai and show his uncle how well he was trained at his teen age and I'll cover only this practice lesson in this post.
My gameplay in YouTube:
The video above has my solid 7 minutes of gameplay where I got the chance to show the uncle how well young Jin Sakai was trained. From the gameplay video, I used some parts to make GIF of the photo mode in some parts that looks beautiful.
Young Jin Sakai was practicing alone in their practice field by a lake under a big tree and that's when his uncle Shimura came over to check on his nephew. Ain't this photo seems like a canvas painting?
This part is more of my tutorial on how to attack the enemies and its well thought.
Young Jin was self practicing and that's when his uncle first admired and then said Jin still lacked control. Jin gave his father's sword to his uncle when Shimura was saying this sword of clan Sakai has saved lives and ended wars.
Uncle Shimura offered his lessons to Jin about defending thyself. Jin said he knows how to fight but uncle Shimura said he must control his emotions to master his blade. Jin replied he can do that so his uncle asked him to show him.
The very first lesson started with striking like quick attack, heavy attack and stab attack. I had to try all those attacks myself according to how I was asked to. The photo mode kept amazed me with the live surroundings. Look it was in the photo mode where the big tree was still moving around and hundreds of leaves kept falling on the ground.
Then uncle Shimura taught me how to break through defenses, to block, to parry, to dodge spear and follow up with counter-attack. After teaching the lessons, the uncle said there's no weapon, no warrior that Jin won't overcome.
Uncle Shimura said it wasn't finished yet and asked his nephew to honor him a with a sparring match where I had to land five strikes first to get to choose dinner where Shimura landed only one strike when I did all five and I won the match.
Uncle Shimura then left a speech before ending the lessons and going for dinner.
That's all for now. I'll write about more of this story again soon. Be safe till we meet again.
Au revoir/Goodbye.
