Mientras muchos usuarios Gaming están en controversia acerca de si comprar un Xbox, un Playstation u otra consola moderna, aquí les traigo una llamativa y gran contendiente que podría convertirse en la estrella del show.

La NES Classic Edition o también llamada Nintendo Classic Mini, salió al mercado en noviembre de 2016 y es una réplica miniatura de la consola Nintendo entertainment System (NES). Cuenta con una biblioteca de juegos preinstalados, incluyendo algunos juegos de terceros bajo sus respectivas licencias y cuenta con más almacenamiento para guardar partidas de juegos.

DESCRIPCIÓN VISUAL

En la parte frontal de la consola encontraremos los clásicos botones de POWER y RESET, el led indicador y los conectores para los mandos, la diferencia se encuentra en que los conectores son diferentes, éstos son como los de la consola Wii. En la parte trasera la consola cuenta con una salida HDMI para conectarlo al televisor a traves del cable HDMI y también encontramos un puerto USB para la DC IN.

Si hablamos del mando de la consola, les puedo decir que es una copia auténtica del original, tiene la CRUZ para movernos arriba abajo a la derecha y a la izquierda, los botones SELECT y STAR, y los botones A y B. Está fabricado con excelentes materiales al igual que la consola, que incluso nos recuerda cuando la cruz nos dejaba la famosa marca en el pulgar de la mano izquierda. El único inconveniente es que el cable es un poco corto, aproximadamente 90Cm, pero investigando un poco por allí he visto que venden algunas extensiones.

Es importante comentar que la consola en su caja incluye un solo mando y que si queremos comprar un segundo mando para el modo multijugador, podemos comprar otro aparte.

Algunas preguntas frecuentes que he visto en internet, hacen referencia a:

¿Se conecta a internet?... La respuesta es no, no posee conexión a internet.

¿Que viene en la caja?... La caja incluye la consola NES Mini, un mando, el cable USB y el cable HDMI.

¿Se pueden utilizar utilizar otros mandos?... En esta consola la respuesta es que sí, aparte del oficial de la versión Mini, se puede usar también el mando clásico Pro de Wii, pero si se usan dos mandos a la vez Nintendo establece que, al menos uno de los mandos tendrá que ser el oficial de la NES Mini.

¿Se podrían Añadir más juegos?... La respuesta es no, ya que la consola tiene preinstalados 30 juegos clásicos no modificables.

¿Funciona con cartuchos?... No, la consola NES Mini tiene los juegos preinstalados.

¿La ranura donde van los cartuchos se puede abrir?... No.

Para el 31 de enero de 2017, Nintendo ya había vendido más de 1.5 millones de unidades de la consola Mini, finalmente se vendieron 2.3 millones de unidades, una asombrosa cantidad, y ya para el 15 de abril de 2017 dijo que, a pesar del éxito que logró el relanzamiento de la consola, dejaría de fabricarla ya que no era un producto concebido para una venta a largo plazo.
