If you want to be a King mounted on a Horse just spilling your gold among the commoners this is your game.
Kingdom New Lands it's a Pixel Art Game, when you take on the rol of a king who starts an empire from zero using his gold to employ commoners, build the kingdom and defend from the evil enemies from another dimension.
Let's take the gold and build the review.
Gameplay
Kingdom New Lands it's a 2D Scroller Game, you go from left to right or right to left in the map trying to find peasents and resources for investing gold into them. The controls are very simple you can't jump or crouch so, it's only left and right to move in the map, a button to drop the gold and the same pressing longer the same button to invest the gold into the structures or task you want to mark and finally a button to make the horse sprint. As far as how to play, that's really it.
When talking about how comfortable is, it's pretty easy to play, very straight forward and enjoyable. Controls are simple enough, like the rest of the game, just takes a little tutorial on how to play (teached by a ghost), in which tells you what to do en how to do it, an then you are off to play.
The game has progression, you have to reach certain amount of gold to build a boat and take off the island into the new level, this may take you an hour more or less, that's the duration of the firts level. More levels, it gets harder but the mechanics are the same, it keeps the same concept.
About the people in the village there is 3 types of employees, hunters/archers (bow), builders (hammers) and farmers (hoes).
- Archers hunt food and defend the village from the enemies that come to attack.
- Builders build things on command and they are responsable for the catapult.
- And farmers are passive villagers that farm crops and when they complete the farming they'll pay you the profit.
Every commoner has a task and when they complete certain tasks they'll pay you the profit, so you can collect them; you have to run infront of them and they'll drop the coins for you to collect.
When collecting coins you'll reach a max of coin, when you do it the coins will drop from the pouch into the sea, so you can't pick them up that the limit, you have to spend to collect more coins.
The game ends if the enemies steal your crown, you have 2 chances, one they make you drop the crown and if they take it it's game over.
Visual Department
As a Pixel-Art Scroll game there's nothing too magnificent in graphics terms. But it is very beautifuly done, you run in front of this water that has always reflection and so u can expect being reflected everywhere you go.
The Pixel Art it's very well done, it has a lot of detail, different weather, and day-night cicle when you get attacked by the monster of the other dimension.
Like most Pixel-Art game it has very little detail on the characters but a lot of detail in the map and every other aspect in the game. It has a very soothing effect, relaxing and mesmerizing that goes along perfectly with the music and the sounds.
Conclusion
Some "Bad Aspects"
Before concluding the review i'll like to point out a few bad aspects of the game:
- The Artificial Intelligence, it's ok, but annoying sometimes. You'll encounter some of the Archers going to on the sides of the village where it's not getting attacked, in other words you can't delegate the archers, u cant move them around they follow a pattern.
- Like Any other Progression game you have to wait, this it's maybe not so bad aspect, but if you are impatience you will get annoyed by not getting money too fast and just laying and running around craving gold.
- Maybe repetitive and first. Later in the game starts to get harder and more chance to progress, but in the firts 2, 3 hours you'll play the first 2 maps almost the same.
Now, with that being said Kingdom New Lands it's a easy-going game when you can play for an Hour just collecting money and expading your kindgom. The music, the sounds and the visual of this game just makes you get into it and relax for a bit losing the notion of the time.

Si quieres ser un rey que va a caballo, derramando tu oro entre los plebeyes, éste es tu juego.
Kindow New Lands es una juego estilo Pixel Art, en donde tomas el rol de un Rey que empieza un imperio desde 0 usando su oro para contratar plebeyos, construyendo el reino y defendiéndolo de las amenezadas de otra dimensión.
Ahora, agarremos el oro y construyamos éste review.
Jugabilidad
Kingdom New Lands, es un Scroller 2D, es un juego en donde vas de izquierda a derecha y visceversa en el mapa tratando de econcontrar campesinos y recursos invierto el oro en ellos y la aldea. Los controles del juego son muy simples, no puedes saltar ni agacharte, por lo tanto nos queda movernos de lado a lado en el mapa, un botón para soltar el oro y el mismo botón presionándolo en ciertas sutiaciones para invertir el oro en las estructuras o tareas que quieres marcar, y finalmente el botón de esprintar del caballo. Hasta aquí sería el como jugar de manera simple.
Cuando hablamos de comodidad, es bastante sencillo y de jugar, muy directo y disfrutable. Los controles son muy sencillos como el resto del juego, solo toma un tutorial (enseñado por un fastasma), en donde te dice que hacer y como hacerlo. A partir de ahí estás listo.
El juego tiene progresión, necesitas alcanzar cierta cantidad de oro para construir un bote y poder irte de la isla hacia otra que es como un nuevo nivel, ésto te puede tomar una hora más o menos. Esa es la duración del primer nivel, por lo tanto más niveles, más difícil pero con las mismas mecánicas.
Sobre los campesiones/aldeanos, hay 3 tipos de empleados, cazadores/arqueros (arco), constructores (martillos) y granjeros (azada).
- Los Arqueros cazan la comida y defiende la aldea de los enemigos que vienen a atacar.
- Los constructores realizan estructuras y son responsables de las catapultas.
- Y los campesinos son aldeanos pasivos que solo se dedican a plantar y recolectar para pagarte la ganancia.
Cada plebeyo tiene una tarea y cuando las completan te pagarán una ganancia para que puedas recolectar; tienes que correr al frente de ellos y te soltarán las monedas para recoger.
Cuando recolectas muchas monedas alcanzarás un máximo, cuando alcances éste máximo las nuevas monedas que recolectes las monedas caerán de la bolsa hacia el agua, así que no puedes recogerlas porque llegaste al límite, tienes que gastar para recolectar más monedas.
El juego termina si el enemigo roba tu corona, tienes 2 oportunidades cuando te golpean y se te cae y luego si la toman es Game Over.
Apartado Visual
Como cuando Scroll Pixel-Art no tiene nada demasiado magnífico en términos de poder gráfico crudo, pero está hecho de manera hermosa, corras al frente de un agua que siempre tiene reflejo, así que te verás reflejado a todos lados que vayas.
El Pixel-Art está muy bien cabado, tiene mucho detalle, distintos climas, ciclo día-noche que es cuando te atacan los enemigos de la otra dimensión.
Como la mayoría de juegos de éste estilo tiene muy poco detalle en los personajes, pero tiene un montón de detalle en el mapa y en todo el resto de los aspectos del juego. Tiene un efecto muy relajante, calmante e hipnotizante que va perfectamente con la música y los sonidos.
Conclusión
Algunos "Aspectos Malos"
Antes de concluir la Review quisiera apuntar algunos malos aspectos del juego:
- La inteligenci Artificial está bien, pero molesta en algunos momentos. Te podrás encontrar con muchos arqueros a un lado de la aldea que no está siendo atacada. En otras palabras no puedes delegar a los arqueros, no puedes moverlos porque siguen un patrón.
- Como muchos juegos de Progresión tienes que esperar, esto no es necesariamente un mal aspecto, pero si eres impaciente te puede molestar un poco al no obtener dinero muy fácil y solo estar corriendo de un lado a otro queriendo tener oro.
- Puede ser repetitivo en un principio, luego en el juego se pone más difícil y más progreso, pero de primeras las 2, 3 horas que juegas en los 2 primeros mapas son muy muy parecidos.
Ahora dicho ésto, Kingdom New Lands es un juego muy fácilmente llevable en donde puedes estar una hora recolectando dinero y expandiendo tu Reino. La música, los sonidos y el estilo visual de éste juego te hacen que te relajes y pierdas la noción del tiempo.
