Elden Ring - Boss Fight - Bell Bearing Hunter in Altus
Bell Bearing Hunter in Altus.
Hey guys, I'm a little behind in Elden Ring posts but I'll try start fixing that real soon. Got a ton of new adventures and battles to upload. Can't wait!
This post is about the Bell Bearing Hunter in Altus, one of several magic-swordsman who appear to only come out at night and drop a special bell item that allows you to expand the two crone-sisters merchant store at the Roundtable of Lost Grace, a type of headquarters for Elden Ring's Tarnished.
This area was special because it was near a bunch of cemeteries filled with not the usual undead-type enemies, but angry skeletons who could somehow fly? Not sure why but it was fun to try and juggle my attention between the Bell Bearing Hunter's flying red sword and the little pesky and bone-dudes trying to interrupt our fight.
Since I run a hybrid magic-melee build, I focused on fire incantations, using my teleporting Ash-of-War skill Bloodhound Step, and hoping to finish him off with Rogier's Rapier quick thrusting sword. In this video, I'm a bit of a glass cannon and don't have the tough tankiness of a pure melee builds or the super-strong offense of pure magic types, such as sorcerers -- different from incantation users like my Tarnished character in Elden Ring -- which I hope to try out in the future. For this one my main spells were Golden Vow which ups attack and defense, Flame Grant Me Strength which further buffs attack and fire spells, and Black Flames a fireball that does residual burn damage. Interesting fact, it's raining during my fight so my fire spells were weaker -- should've switched to lightning but maybe next time.
