Hello everyone!
It surely has been a while since I uploaded any Pokémon Unite gameplays. Well, this was as a result of my mobile phone getting bad - some water got into it when I got caught by the rain, and the screen started going haywire. But thankfully, I've been able to get it fixed and it works good as new now.
During that period, I had been unable to play the game and was left in the dark concerning any information about it.
As I rejoined the game, I found out that a few new Pokémon had been added to the game:
- Zacian - An All-rounder type
- Comfey - A Supporter type
- And Goodra - A Defensive type
Also, a couple of new evolutions for Eevee were also added to the game since there were having an Eevee festival event in the game. They added Umbreon and Leafeon which is cool, I guess.
- Now, we have Umbreon which is a defensive type.
- And Leafeon which is a speedster type.
Before I rejoined the game, I heard rumors that Zacian was somewhat over powered, and Comfey had this ability to boost an ally's attack or something (I'm not exactly sure) and this when this ability was used with Zacian, it became basically unstoppable. This led to an influx of players using the Zacian-Comfey combo. I didn't hear anything concerning the eeveelutions though.
Luckily, I only had enough money to get only one of the new Pokémon and with all of the rumors and information that I got, I chose the obviously superior option. The one that would most obviously be chosen:
I chose Goodra of course.
With the time I spent using Goodra, my favorite move pair is Dragon pulse and Power whip. I like these moves in particular because Dragon pulse recovers some health when it hits so I'm able to keep fighting for longer. This move has saved me several times, especially when I'm facing multiple opponents.
I also like Power whip because it allows me to drag opponents closer to me at a certain distance. I've found this quite helpful to stop enemies from escaping because... yes :)
Even though I'm still a bit rusty, I'm quite a fan of this mon. I never knew using a defensive type Pokémon would feel quite liberating, because I do not have to worry so much about health (It can still get depleted, but not as fast). Who knows, maybe this Pokémon might be able to get me to the master rank someday.
However, my boy Charizard got nerfed to the phantom zone 😢
