Dragon valley is a map where the allies has a carrier by the north part of the map. And some land based capture points as well. Many are unclaimed so getting to them as fast as possible can be a good strategy. Sometimes it works, other times it does not. A few maps if you can get to important checkpoints fast enough it can really change the favor to your own team.
I prefer to take a fighter jet or other fast traveling aircraft and bail out near an unclaimed capture point. Sometimes it works really well, other times I get overrun real quick.
Defending the capture points can take a few minutes depending on if I have to retreat or not.
In this case I did not successfully capture this area, but I go back and try again.
Finding a building to camp up on can be fun, I jump out of the aircraft and aim for the roof of the building.
My parachute opens in time and I glide my way to where I want to set up.
This time my loadout is anti tank, so I will hide up on this building until an enemy tank, APC or light combat vehicle comes by.
It is fun watching the air support all around the map, lots going on as I sit on top of the building.
I see an APC but is really far away, and it does not stay still. Since my rockets are not guided I need to wait until its unmanned or stays still for a few seconds to get a rocket off in its direction.
An enemy fighter gets a kill against one of our attack helicopters, quite to show from the roof.
Running out of rockets I jump off a building and then respawn, this time I grab the sniper loadout and make my way to a near by grassy hill.
I deploy in an area where both factions are fighting. So the enemy should be well distracted and will not focus on me that much.
Killing many enemies the allies move forward, their blue names let me know they are friendlies.
Running out of rifle ammo I pull out my pistol.
Luckily all the covering fire gave our troops quite the advantage, so I retreat and find an aircraft to go somewhere else.
I find an attack helicopter and use it to travel to my next ambush point. On the way I do some damage to another enemy copter.
I eject onto a near by roof and use my light machine gun loadout to lay down some fire.
An enemy copter is flying near by, but not much I can do about it with my light machine gun.
Respawning I take an APC and go for a drive near one of the capture points.
An enemy helicopter just crash lands right in front of me, though did it not blow up. So I fired upon it until it did.
