Playing some party games made by Nintendo, this game came out back in 2004 and it runs great on the emulator. So I set it up and trying out the Snowlake Lake map. We play as Boo and Yoshi against the two princesses. Setting the came to 15 turns it makes it for about an hour of gameplay.
This game can be played using the Dolphin emulator, it runs good on more basic PCs. Compared to the RPCS3 emulator for PS3 games its very light weight.
It may have a wide screen setting but have not found it yet.. So we get a square output for now.
Locked in at 60 FPS it runs great, never dips for this old Gamecube game.
Starting off we roll out dice blocks to see who starts. I get a 6 so I am first!
There are many mini games in Mario party, seems like I never get to play them all and always new ones to find. We practice before trying them to get the hang out of it since we only get one chance at it.
I usually just want to play it without practice and it can bit me in the ass sometimes.
Luckily our team won this one.
Moving along we can take the path to the building past the womp or go down without having to pay.
This is one of my favorite mini games, the window washing one. You have to do things in a certain order and its important not to block your team mate in the stairs.
Eventually we rolled and fell on a DK mini-game square.
In this one we shake the banana tree to make the bananas fall. But hammers can also fall and hurt you making you stop shaking for a second.
DK is watching us off in the background... hah
Next is a 1 on 1 battle. If we have played it before we decide who is better and let that person give it a shot. Since we have some mini games we are better at from each other its usually a good plan.
