Hey Hive gamer, how is your weekend going? I hope it is filled with some gaming activity like it has been for me. In my previous post NBA2K BlackTop, I spoke about my plans to play video games throughout the weekend as a means of relaxation from work, well, so far it has been relaxing, and I can't deny it. That feeling of dealing with the next quest on the game, fighting various obstacles, trying to make sure I do not mess up the mission, and even watching others play online in some cases, it's truly refreshing for me.
Today, I checked out Gangster 4 on mobile device. I must mention the last time I played this game was back in 2022 in my old apartment when there were still some major upgrades the game needed. Like the quick response to action when using the character, more motion graphics to depict more action and the need for upgraded weapons in the game store. Well, so far the game has come far from where it was 3 years go, with better upgrades addressing these needs I mentioned, and an interesting storyline to flow along with the game. I do not have much to say other than it was a good play for me, given it is a game that has been around for a while.
The upgrades are on point and there were no hiccups or hanging while I was gaming. Although for a better gaming experience, you need to download the game on a mobile device with a good amount of freed up RAM and ROM space. Then prepare yourself for some ad popups when playing. I think that is one of the ways for the game to generate revenue since it is free to downlad from the play store. Oh, before I forget there is also the creation of battle arena where you get to go on missions with massive gun power and shooting but certain app purchases will be required. If this is not your style, then I suggest you stick to the main game.
The game started off with my character meeting up with Frank, (the man who currently runs Vegas) where I get to work for him as a fighter in fixed match but things turn for the worse for me when I got carried away and knocked my opponent out in a match I was meant to lose. This made Frank very angry and he wants my head, despite the fact that he has shown me what he does to people who disobeys him. This automatically makes me a man on the run, with the sole purpose of surviving. So, I go ahead to make a call to a friend's mom to come to my excuse and she also happens to be Frank's sworn enemy. This alone makes the game interesting and action-packed right from the get-go.
My friend's mom sends her accountant Karen to my rescue and Karen comes in loaded with weapons and a truck for my escape. The streets of Vegas isn't safe as we run for our lives, while shooting at Frank's men. Things get hitted and Karen drives us into the ocean, in order to escape and that is how I became a gangster for hire, working for my friend's mom as she offers me protection from Frank.
I am currently still playing the game but when I hit a milestone I might write about it as well but for now check it out and see for yourself.
