Hi there, Hivers and Game lovers.
Welcome to another post from the blog of , where we talk about games and anything gaming-related. Recently, PlayStation has been offering marathon giveaways, slashing the prices of select games to a discounted rate. If you have had your eye on a particular game for a while, I guess now is the best time to check if PlayStation slashed the price.
While my work buddy finally created his account and I will be delegating some RC to him to help with his introductory post and getting started. But I told him to explore the blockchain and the community for a better understanding. I am yet to see what you have installed for Hive
One game I picked up for free from the PS store is BloodHunt. Initially, I didn't know much about the game, but I have only watched a couple of ads online. I had my doubts about the game, whether it would have a storyline or if it was just another free game that got so many bad reviews, which is why it is free. Well, as I am not one to jump to conclusions without testing the product, I went ahead to watch some on-veiling videos for the game on the PS Store, and I checked out the reviews.
BloodHunt is a free-to-play online game set in Prague where you get to hunt other vampires, vampire hunters, and feed on humans for more strength. The game also comes with a superpower of defying gravity with your character, jumping over walls, climbing, scrawling on walls, and super strength. All the superpowers that come with being a vampire. Something like Niklaus or Elijah from the Original or Dracula.
The game is about 20 gigabytes of space, so it didn't take much time to download. In about 30 minutes or 45 minutes, the game was all set for playing. First, I had to create my character and customize it however I see fit. I chose a male character, giving him white hair as I was aiming for the witcher kind of look. Next, I moved on to outfits and tried on a couple until I finally gave up on the outfit, opting instead to stick with the default one.
Since I just recently downloaded the game, I haven't played my first game yet, but I will be making a post on that as well, and future missions that come up along. So far for now I can say the interface and design are quite nice, and the use of red rapidly makes it even more fun. It gives the players that sense of blood and true vampirism.
The tutorial process was quite easy to scale through, although I had multiple issues with the map. It felt like the mapping was complicated for me to read at first until I realised I could jump over buildings and even climb buildings as well if the need arose. With that, I have been able to decode the works of the map, for I wouldn't say much about it because I forgot to take screenshots, rather I will leave it for my next post, after I've spent more hours playing the game.
See you in the next game.
