Hey gamers
And welcome to my blog where I talk about my gaming experience and anything game-related. Yesterday I wrote about playing chess during lunch break in an attempt to get to 2100 rating in blitz but sadly I've been losing since yesterday.
So this time around, I decided to play a different game from chess and I chose to continue my managerial career in Soccer Manager 25
I'm currently the manager of Chelsea FC and the manager of the Croatian National Team. In preparation for the upcoming English Premier League, my club, Chelsea is participating in a preseason competition as this comes with cash prizes for the winner, which can also be injected into the club's financial balance sheet and in return used for building and upgrading more of the club's infrastructure.
In the first round of the competition, we went up against Getafe which was a tough match given that the opening goal came from Getafe's player Mayorbal through a precision crossing of the ball and a finishing header.
Getafe maintained the 1 0 lead to the end of the first half but things took a turn for the better for Chelsea when we came back more energetic in the second half.
Nicolas Jackson gave us the equalizing goal, and did it with style after clearing through the defenders to get a one-on-one with the goalkeeper.
After the equalizing goal from Nicolas Jackson, I thought that was it and thankfully we were able to draw the game but it wasn't over for Jackson. He struck again with the next goal, a couple of minutes to the end of the game and that's how we won the game despite coming from 1 0 down in the first half of the match. Jackson saved the team.
After the match, I signed an 80 million dollar sponsorship for the club from Special Effects. This means more money for the team at the end of the season and when we do well in the competitions, more money will flow in.
Also, I've been getting some interesting offers for my first eleven boys, like Nkunku, whom I got 51 million dollars from Liverpool. I rejected the offer because Nkunku is vital to the team and he is young, so there's still room to make more money from him a couple of years down the line.
The next match in the preseason competition was against Lazio and this match was different for us. We dominated from the start of the game down to the end, leaving no room for defensive errors for our opponent to exploit.
This led us to a 4-nil victory against Lazio and guess what? Nicolas Jackson delivered a hat-trick, scoring three goals, non-stop and not looking back. Cole Palmer finished it up with the 4th goal.
My team is on fire and the best part is I'm just getting started. When I'm done with these boys, they will be goal-oriented machines with high price valuation. The clubs making offers now will double it up with a plea added for my players. I'm only getting started and I'm looking for to my first match with Croatia during the international break.
