Remember the days of Flash Games and Animations? There were websites like Newgrounds and Addicting-Games, that hosted excellent, simple animations and games, made with Macromedia Flash. Due to it being not mobile friendly, as well as not the most secure type of web content, Flash has been phased out and is now unsupported by all of the modern Web Browsers.
However, now you can RELIVE all those wonderful flash Animations and Games! A project called "Flashpoint" recently came under my radar, and it functions quite amazingly. The software is entirely free, and actually boasts an INSANELY large library of over ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND Flash Games and Animations!! All completely free to play or watch.
Some of my favorites games?
Insaniquarium - Level Up and Care for your virtual fish in your fishtank, while avoiding monsters and growing your fish!
Stick RPG - Get a Job, Earn Money, Gain intelligence and expand your house and role in society!
Hacker vs Hacker - A real time strategy game where you are trying to take down your opponents base before he takes down yours! Build up a strong defense, and then upgrade your attacks to bring down your opponent.
The Impossible Quiz - An insanely goofy quiz, comprising of over 100 questions made to make you laugh and rage a little bit, all in good fun! It's addicting to keep retrying the quiz and getting a bit further every time!
It's quite fun to drown in the nostalgia, and it's even better knowing that you can enjoy all of these gems in an almost Netflix-esque neat library that you can search through! That's also another great thing about this program. The filesize is small, and only increases with each game you download and play locally.
Flash is no longer supported in modern day web browsers, and webpages that have flash content will NOT display the embedded movie or game! The Flashpoint program is an amazing and safe way to replay all these great flash games and movies! It is sure to give you HOURS and hours of free entertainment as you browse through this nostalgic library of games and movies from the golden age of flash animation.
