Greetings, everyone! How are your latest ranked battles going? Is it good, bad, or meh? For this post, I would like to happily present my Season 119 summary report.
To start, I managed to snag a place on the Bronze Leaderboard and received 6,000 DEC as a reward. 10th place is not bad, right? I will then use this to fund my renting for the current season. Additionally, I did not notice that I had completed 1,205 battles with a 62.15% win rate. I also had an 11-max win streak. 😄
Moving on to my season reward summary, I received a total of 11.440 USD as a reward from SPS that I earned. I also obtained several soul-bound cards, but none of them were legendary cards. Well, I guess this is quite expected because I am playing in the Bronze League, and the drop rate of legendary cards is quite low.
You might be wondering why I am staying in the Bronze League. Basically, it's because the energy recharge is cheaper compared to other leagues, and I get to compete with lots of players from our local community. The energy refill costs 1 DEC per energy and increases by 50% every 25 energy purchased before the daily focus reset. And I usually fully recharge my energy 2 to 3 times a day.

Next, let's talk about my loot from the Gladius packs. I resisted the urge to buy Gladius packs after every brawl and decided to purchase them all at the end of the season. It turned out to be quite awesome because I managed to pull two gold foil epic cards. Each of these cards has a card power of 10,000 and can be converted to DEC. Additionally, on my other account, I obtained a Quora Towershead. Oh, and I also received a legendary card, although I'm not yet familiar with its gameplay. These loot drops are pretty cool, don't you agree? 😁

To calculate how much I earned, I downloaded my balance history and filtered it from 09/15/2023 to 09/30/2023. It appears that I earned a decent amount! For this season, my account "akosilestr" spent around 6,975 DEC, which includes rental payments and purchased energy. I also earned 743.254 DEC from ranked battles and 23.711 DEC from reward chests.
If we calculate it using today's conversion rates, 6,975 DEC is approximately 4.7 USD, and 766.965 SPS is around 10.56 USD. Additionally, the DEC I received from the Leaderboard, plus assuming that I will burn my two epic gold foil cards, is worth 20.2 USD. So, in total, I earned 26.06 USD for this season. This is in addition to the cards I earned on this account alone. The DEC I used to rent cards and purchase energy came from the curation rewards of my Splinterlands posts. So technically, I earned 30.76 USD. Pretty cool, right? It's rare to find a game that you can enjoy playing and earn money at the same time!
