Hello Beautiful folks! Hope you are doing great and living the best of your lives. For today's post let us continue with the Unturned series. But before moving forward, a short recap.
Recap
The squad of mine has been playing Unturned for more than a decade, of course with gaps in-between. And this time, we decided to play again because we are on vacations. We joined an easy difficulty server, although we wanted to play a normal one. But there was not much public. Moving forward, by far, we have looted well, got raided, did hordes, raided few and built a humongous base. Following this our mission was to gather enough raiding material and go for the revenge base raid.
Here we go
With the experience we had, it was pretty easy to collect the raiding gear - especially hordes were too easy for us. We did like six or seven hordes and had enough charges to annihilate the whole server. We had planned of doing this even before joining the server, because nothing can beat the fun of raiding. As Unturned is all about survival of the fittest. Before starting with the raiding show, let me share with you guys the before and after change.
The squad just chilling in the garage. We were just waiting for the day time, dah! It is kind of hard to see during the night time; although one can just change the brightness setting, but we were too lazy to do so.
As you can see, after the raid, we were not just chilling anymore. We almost raided everyone on the server, except one big base. Because the team had already left the server, and it was not fun to raid someone who is not coming back. From zero cars to four and a military tank. Tank came in handy especially during the revenge raid.
Annihilation Begins
As I have already mentioned, we raided too many, so it is impossible to share each and every detail. I will be sharing only the few which were somewhat good raids. The criteria of a good raid? The best one possible is the online raid, and second best is the one with raiding material to which we call 'a Baddie'.
So there are few guns such as Dragon Fang, Grizzly, Matamorez, Echo etc., which are considered the raiding gear. Then there are these charges (C4), the best thing to raid. It takes 2 explosives and a nade to make one of course with other basics as well. We used charges, dragon fang and matamorez.
Raid 1
First base of the day was a 2-by-2 metal base. The loot was just good. If I had to rate on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate it a mere 5.
Looks like Rira is living the best of his life.
There was nothing special as I mentioned above. But the fun part, rira got stuck inside the base. Thanks to the hasty nature, he just jumped straight into the base without checking for the claimflag. What next? We had to waste some ammo, hehehe. But we had a good laughter in that moment.
Raid 2 and 3
These two bases were nothing but a waste of time and ammo. Due to the agenda of "small bases do not mean sh!t", we just went for it.
The base had literally nothing other than few scraps. So on kind grounds, we left some good loot and repaired the base. We are good pirates :)
This one was okay with the basic stuff, once again nothing so special. The point is we were looking for some spicy material aka the raiding gear. Hehehe, we dream big.
Base 4
Now this one was the good one compared to the previous 3. Before the raid, we had to build a structure to raid from above which we did. Unluckily, there were hostile sentries.
Funny enough the first room we raided had the generator (we just turned it off) in it. So no more scared of sentries, and we are already destroying the room with the generator in it. Easy one, lucky one.
By far, we had raided some pookie bases, and now, we were left with very less ammo. So, we decided to go back to our base and gather enough to complete what we started. While we were at it, I looted military. By the way, this is our base - actually a castle now.
Raiding Continues
Back at it again, we did two more hordes also because there was not enough ammo. The next base is a floor one. What is a floor base? Basically one places floors on the boundary side and the middle part is covered by the roofs rather than the floors. It is difficult to predict whether one has a floor base or not. How we found out? Well nothing special, we just decided to give it a try and it was worth it.
Next we took the car and went straight to the spawn areas. While we were searching for a good raid; we found a player. We asked if he is friendly or want peace, but he chose weapon. We were left with no other choice but to fight. We killed him easily. But he came back, it meant he had a base with a bed nearby. After some roaming, we did find his base. Now the whole squad of his was playing. Soon enough both of my teammates died. While I was the only one alive, I was just sitting in the APC (bullet proof car). As soon as I got the chance I killed two of them. By this time, my duo had returned as well. Next? We raided them - ONLINE! It was the best raid by now.
They came back, but now we were in complete control. Next we did some other short raids, and next we were left with one base. The revenge raid as well. Although it was a big one, but we had a tank so we decided to do it right away.
It was the hardest one as we were left with little raiding material and the base was humongous, metal too. However, it was our last raid, and after that, we were going to quit the server as it was no more fun for us. The post-raid:
The END
We were done with the base raids. After a week of looting, killing, dying, surviving etc., everything came to an end. Luckily, we have found ourselves a new server, and this one is normal difficulty as well. Next we are going to play it. It means more fun awaits us. These are the final moments from the past-life: drinking the chemical, which equals a slow death (ofc in the game, and reality too btw but who is asking).
