Hello beautiful people, hope you are living the best of your lives. For today's topic, I guess, the title says it all. To me or to us (my squad), Unturned is the toppest-tier game on this planet earth. Maybe in the parallel universe, we all enjoying Roblox, who knows? Moving forward, back in time, this was my first game which I played via "Steam" platform. Before this, I used to play offline games: Asassian Creed, GTA, CoD, FIFA, Cricket 07, and the list goes on. But, this was the first one with online experience, and this experience will shape the future of me and my squad.
>Life Back Then
Pre-Covid era was the peak for us; we used to play it all day long after coming back from schools. From 6 to 12 (pm), we were so focused on playing unturned, we just used to forget the real world. Kind of a bad thing, if you ask me in my present self, but back then we were just kids, unaware of the chaotic nature of this world. However, we still forget the world's hustle whenever we get to play unturned.
>The Squad
We used to be a squad of four, but we had three setups to play. So, we will go in turns, after every one hour, one user will have to change. This way, everyone used to get two hours of play twice. Maybe, it is not the game itself but the bonding. Even today, we still talk of the old days while playing. We remember: the built bases; the moments where we shared laughter; the places where we went for raid; the occasion where we died out of nowhere and blamed each other. The fun part is, it is still the same.

Down are the few screenshots which I took and posted back then. Hilarious enough, I am playing on 10-20 fps :)
Another one
>Stay Unturned
You're a survivor in the zombie infested ruins of society, and must work with your friends and forge alliances to remain among the living.
Enough of nostalgia, let us move towards the present. So, it is Ramadan season, and in the last week, we all get to enjoy vacations till Eid. So here we are, the whole squad free from university x job life. We were supposed to play Valorant; but we decided to play Unturned. Before moving forward, the game is a mix of pvp and pve, where one has to survive the zombie apocalypse while dealing with other players as well. You get to kill zombies, loot places, fight each other, build bases, raids, horde etc.
>Summary from the Present Play
On 12th of March, we joined a Russia server with easy difficulty. To be honest, easy is not our thing anymore, but since the game has gotten soft and players find it hard to play normal, we were left with no other choice. This is a completely vanilla server which means no tpa, no kits, no help of any sort. One has to go from "Rags to Riches". Started as naked and first thing, I went for was to get some experience (XP points in game) to enhance my skills.
I went to the farm, killed zombies which earned me experience and helped me with cardio and stamina (skills). Luckily it was full moon, it means more zombies, more experience, more loot. In doing so, I got the chainsaw and a hawkhound (gun).
Chainsaw is a must thing to build a base fast, otherwise it takes a lot of time to do so. After some time, I was joined by the teammate, and we decided to go forward. We ran toward another farm and saw two guys looting. I caught them off-guard and killed them easily. Alas! They had nothing special other than a makeshift scope.
The full moon ended, we moved forward. And, I got killed by a dude with a Zubeknakov (AK gun). Three of us were playing, and I was the only one who died. Yeah it sucks! Back to the rags. This time rather than looting farms, I just ran toward my teammate as they had killed a guy. I just looted that guy's feast. Easy Peasy!
On reaching the city - Moscow - we found a car, it was the need of the time. But the luck was not on our side, the fuel tanks were empty. Anyway, we were left with no other choice but to talk, which we did.
Our plan was to make a base at Krovi (location name), as we always make our base there. But someone else's huge base was already there. And being a newbie in the server, we just did not want to disturb those folks.
Base was full metal and with a goal in our minds to raid it, we moved forward. Coming up next is the most unexpected thing. Once again, both of my teammates passed by the same location - alive. But when I followed the same pathway; I was killed. I guess, the luck has some personal beef with me.
Now, I decided to take a break and try my luck the next day.
>Next Day
On joining, my teammates had already built a 2-by-3 base with good loot, near military. Military as the name suggests has the most suitable loot and tense pvp opportunity.
Now with the bed placed, we were free to go anywhere, fight anyone. Bed means on being killed, we can just revive at the specific location. I looted military, found myself good weapon (Zubeknakov), made few dressings (healings) and embraced myself with full military-gear. Next up, I decided to extend the base, otherwise, it was too easy to raid a 2x3 base. My teammates, on the other hand, were looting for guns and claim-flag (to claim the location so that no one else can claim our location).
With that it was almost time, to log-off. So with new goals in our minds, we logged-off and what came next was not what we expected. But, we already knew that it was going to happen. However, what happened next is another day story.
In the end, I am just happy to relive the nostalgic moments. A vacation being well spent with the squad.
