Decided to give this game a try since I heard some good things about it in the HiveGamingCommunity. I never played it before and honestly had no idea what the game was about. I kinda like going into games completely blind like that and this game seemed perfect for that. It's another game from Remedy who I know make really awesome games.
Alan Wake is a famous writer and the game begins with him having a nightmare. The nightmare is based on one of the stories he is writing and there is an axe wielding murderer in there. WE get to fight him with a flashlight and a pistol as we slowly make our way to the lighthouse. The only safe place there is. After that it goes back to real life and we see Alan going to an island for a vacation at a lake house. Right off the bat things are really weird there and they just get weirder after that.
