Recientemente en esta comunidad tuve el placer de contarles el curioso caso de Goodbye Volcano High y cómo fue ampliamente superado por un fan-game creado por 4chan, como tal en ese post no di mi opinión acerca del juego, solo me había informado para contar el caso en cuestión pero como obviamente me interesó y las críticas eran positivas e inclusive tienen planeado hacer una secuela, tenía que jugarlo sí o sí, aún más sabiendo que es un juego gratis que cualquiera puede bajar desde la página oficial, solo hace falta hacer una búsqueda en Google. Como mencioné en mi post anterior, estamos ante una clásica novela visual, ya saben, de esas que me gustan mucho, soy bastante de leer y más si la historia es atrapante, en cierto escenario de que esto no fuera así, fácilmente hubiera dejado de jugar aunque como puedes ver, si estoy escribiendo esto es por algo. Por lo tanto les vengo a contar mis primeras impresiones jugando Snoot Game, el juego cuenta con cuatro finales en específico, supondré que serán dos buenos y dos malos, yo he conseguido sacar uno de los mejores, he de suponer porque el final es re feliz. El juego nos narra la historia de Anon, (sí, de anónimo, no se dignaron a ponerle un nombre, supongo que es un chiste) un chico que le tiene cierto odio y repulsión a la gente que se encuentra a su alrededor, es un chico solitario además de otaku cuyo único objetivo en su nueva escuela es pasar desapercibido para tener una estancia tranquila haciendo shitposting en foros de internet, pero nada le saldrá como quiere al conocer/encontrarse a Fang, una pterodáctila, marginado social y de género no binario que lleva una banda de rock, persona o más bien dinosaurio que le causará intriga a nuestro protagonista viéndose ciertamente interesado aunque en el principio no se lleven bien (dependiendo de las elecciones que hagas podrás hacer que Anon tenga una buena relación con elle). Durante la historia se tocaran temas bastantes serios como el aceptarse a uno mismo, la sensación de no pertenecer a ningún lugar y no encontrarle sentido alguno a la vida, el lidiar con traumas del pasado para seguir avanzando y la reconciliación entre seres queridos cercanos, el cómo apoyar a las personas a que ellos mismos superen sus problemas pero eso no será todo porque si sabes llevar bien las cosas experimentarás el cómo lidiar con una relación y cómo hacer que los seres cercanos a la persona que quieres también te acepten.

As for the choices system, it is not something very complex, it is obvious what we have to choose to get a good or bad ending, you just have to use a little common sense, what I did not like, because I'm very testing, is that certain choices have no relevance and are to fill, come on, as in some of the current games, they give you two options and no matter which one you choose always happens the same. As for the scenarios is a point that I was thinking a lot, because they look like retouched internet images and others seem to be made with artificial intelligence, maybe they used both but I would opt more for the first option.
Mira que quizás yo sea muy fácil de sorprender pero hay algo en Snoot Game que me llamó la atención y es que no es totalmente estático, usualmente en juegos de esta índole no suele haber animaciones y acá podemos encontrar aunque sean muy pocas, dándole un poco más de vida a algunos momentos de la historia, podríamos decir que aparecen en algunas partes cruciales. Del diseño de personajes obviamente no puedo decir nada porque los muchachos de 4chan no se encargaron de esto, tomaron algo que ya existía y lo usaron para crear algo propio. En cuanto a la música la encontré bastante buena, la gran parte de ella es algo relajada y hace que te sientas en confort con los personajes. En cuanto al sistemas de elecciones, no es que sea algo muy complejo que digamos, es obvio lo que tenemos que elegir para sacar un buen o mal final, solo hay que usar un poco de sentido común, lo que sí no me gustó, porque soy muy de probar, es que ciertas elecciones no tienen relevancia y están para rellenar, vamos, como en algunos de los juegos actuales, te dan dos opciones y no importa cuál elijas siempre ocurre lo mismo. En cuanto a los escenarios es un punto en el que estuve pensando mucho, porque parecen imágenes de internet retocadas y otras parecen hechas con inteligencia artificial, quizás usaron ambas pero yo optaría más por la primera opción.

In general I don't think the story as such is that long compared to other visual novels that unfold more, here as they focus on just two characters they can afford to do that, they didn't have to design routes with different choices of girls or anything like that, I think if you're really vicious you could finish an ending in a day, it took me about a week because I was playing in and out. I also saw that depending on the endings you unlock extras (well, technically that happened to me), so we have more content available if we want more. I don't see it as serious as Katawa Shoujo, this one is a bit more humorous but it's totally recommendable, definitely a good experience.

En general no creo que la historia como tal sea tan larga comparada con otras novelas visuales que se desenvuelven más, acá como se centran en dos personajes nada más pueden darse el lujo de hacer eso, no tuvieron que diseñar rutas con diferentes opciones de chicas o algo por el estilo, creo que si eres muy vicioso podrías terminar de sacar un final en un día, yo tardé como una semana porque jugaba de a ratos. Vi por ahí también que dependiendo de los finales vas desbloqueando extras (bueno, técnicamente me pasó eso), así que tenemos más contenido disponible si nos quedamos con ganas de más. No la veo tan seria como Katawa Shoujo, esta es un poco más humorística pero es totalmente recomendable, una buena experiencia definitivamente.
