A more tame time with a few close encounters
Back into the glowing sea so I can take out those bloodbugs, now where are they.." a wandering Arghrash was looking around to see where they were, until he saw one just hovering above a bit of water and was prepared this time.
A molotov helped to take out one of the three with ease so that was a good start, then as they were up close and the back one had been hit, using this submachinegun, the wounding one he found a while ago, made lighter work of the other two and before he knew it they were out for the count. Also this feral ghoul that had appeared as the level was reached, so he quickly ended it.
It was time to head back to the pier with the new level allowing increasing his skill in lockpicking for the safe, which was not possible with his current skill the last time he was there.
"Look at all this fog that has come on in the area. Kind of creepy and I am glad to have cleared a mostly known path through this, no nasty surprises, I hope" an exhausted Arghrash claimed as he headed for the pier, only stopping for a couple of drinks of dirty river water.
All the previous stuff he had actually decided to leave the last time he was here due to how much he already had, they were collected like the buffout, then he realised he hadn't slept yet and quickly went down for the long 8 hour sleep.
He woke up feeling fresh like always and it was now dark, the pipboy light was turned on and Arghrash started with the ammo which included some more fusion cells which are always needed and was previously put back after being found last time.
First safe was just some caps and ammo with some armour which is nothing special. What did the better safe have? Nothing much more special and all that effort and for what? .45 rounds and caps, a stimpak and radaway so it wasn't all that worth it but hey, another level and more stuff at least. "What a rip off, you would think they keep more goodies in this one but it was just a setup."
Upon looking around the compound again for anything previously missed, there was a safe which now could be picked in another part of the building.
This was a better lot of loot found with some good ammo that can be saved for once a good gun taking .44 and .50 caliber was found, the pre-war money will be sold off as well. Arghrash headed back out into the middle of the compound to head out again, but didn't expect what was next.. "Shit no! Not like this!"
It was a close call with a landmine being left just under a car so it would explode and catch people off guard, quick reflexes and jumping back saved him from dying and called for another 8 hour sleep to rest up and head out in the morning.
"Ah such a nice run back to base so I can safely put this spare and heavier loot to be in the chest and I can look for more while completing extra quests" said Arghrash as he kept running back to base.
Growls could be heard further, a legendary vicious mongrel was off to the side among the trees.. this prompted quickly getting out something good to fight it with, the wounding submachinegun was that choice and with the speed of the bullets and bleeding effect, well it was lucky he didn't get hurt this time.
Upon getting back to the robot settlement to see supervisor greene, to sell off a bunch of the loot while checking for anything worthy of getting, a sit down on a rock was taken just for a moment as he checked nothing further needed to be sold.
A few minutes later and nothing more to be sold. Arghrash ran back up the hill and only stopped when out of breath and to a walking pace, before continuing to run and reaching base.
"Time for the usual routine at base, drink some water and claim anything from the storage because of the purifier, then I can have a nice sleep again."
That is exactly what happened and it was dark upon waking, but this was a good time to chill in base and expand it a little further.. another water purifier was made as he was sick of not having enough purified water all the time, or was always partly thirsty quite often.
Once the fence had been extended out to help protect the new water purifier, Arghrash slept once more, woke and made sure everything looked okay and didn't rush out, he thought about Corvega as a possible next stop to clear it out.
