Beginning to battle and adventure
Note: This is a new series based on the game Pillars of Eternity which I hope to have a weekly thing on the Monday. Yes the characters name is what I use myself only because after I started, I had decided I would create a series. I want to keep the posts a bit shorter than my Octharg the Destroyer series which is usually 900 - 1000 words, sometimes around 850, so this new series will be aimed for posts around 500 - 600 words but sometimes I may decide on more, only due to getting busy and the length I put into writing. It allows me more time to get the required screenshots in game and avoid mentally draining myself as you all know I also record and edit my gaming footage to post for you to enjoy.
Now onto the story and series. I hope you enjoy it!
TheGoliath was traveling with a caravan of others when they needed to take a rest, requiring some energy and preparing to move on but first, Calisca and he were required to find some Springberries for a remedy in order to cure ailments from a wounded caravan companion, but also find Sparfel to whom the remedy will come from.
The berries were the easy part, but when they found Sparfel it turns out, some hunters were out and managed to kill Sparfel before turning to the pair that had entered into their line of sight.
"You two are next, so come get some" said one hunter as another came across the bridge and the fight began.
It wasn't too tough a fight when focusing on one enemy at a time for the pair of them, but it could've gone worse if they hadn't of been quick. The fight went on for a short time before the win was theirs.
Upon returning to the camp the caravan had setup, it was a massacre there, everyone but Heodan were killed and it was looking as if he was to be next. Heodan was warning the pair to not trust them or everyone would be killed.
"Only a fool attacks a weak enemy while a strong one yet lives" TheGoliath said as he got ready to cast spells.
The Hunter Leader grew tired of talking and decided to go straight for TheGoliath and Calisca due to being stronger, he had fallen for the bait and the fight was underway.
First to drop was the other hunter before a tough fight with the leader was carried out, but three against one and mass damage was making light work of him and allowed the three to move out, heading into the ruins that people shouldn't be entering.
Once inside the ruins, Calisca ran off while Heodan and TheGoliath slept to rest up. They had to creep around inside while only fighting a couple of goblins around the place and they got outside easily. This led to TheGoliath hitting level 2 and unlocking better talents and a new spell to be used throughout his adventures.
Next time will see much more happening and will continue to get even more exciting as the adventures progress, the levels grow and TheGoliath becomes a much tougher wizard!
