Death is amongst the party
A new adventurer wanted to join the part. McStabby the Rogue he is and stabbing the enemies he shall do.
"Thanks for the invitation. Let us go and slaughter some things, been itching to get out and adventure once again" McStabby said before hopping off his bar stool.
"Okay then calm your horses friend but I like your enthusiasm!" replied TheGoliath before leading the now party of 4, out of the inn and through to Black Meadow.
They kept on running through and off to the side of the path, a big mistake on their part as they would find out.
Protecting the Shrine of Galawain is a Forest Lurker, a deadly creature that would show why you do not mess with it.
Both TheGoliath and Aloth stay back to cast spells like always while Dombara starts to take the damage and McStabby works on dealing crit damage when possible. With one fell swoop, the Forest Lurker knocks McStabby down
Focus was shifted over to Dombara who was healing up with second wind ready for after getting struck once.
"Crap, this fight is not ending so well, quickly give it everything you have!" shouted Dombara before getting knocked down to the ground.
It was about to be over as they were falling one after another and focus was shifted to Aloth who had tried to save the others but to no success. And just like that it was over and the party all died and had to come back and avoid the Forest Lurker for now.
After the party had come back in and moved to the south instead, they came across a Forest Troll to which the fight with it, would be an easier one. McStabby was coming in from the side to perform a critical strike on it, while the others focused their efforts together and ensured it was distracted, ensuring this fight would go smoothly and quickly so then they could continue forward.
The last place to visit before heading back was Madhmr Bridge where they had to look for some supplied and the reason they weren't getting where they needed to be.
Turns out a stronger Troll had been killing off anything in the area and a fight followed upon its discovery.
Same tactics where Dombara takes damage being a Barbarian, McStabby coming from the side and the spells coming from the mighty wizards. Focus got shifted to McStabby for the damage he caused, ensuring some attacks were able to take him down, then the troll shifted focus back to Dombara who had been taking to low endurance, but barely hung on while they finished it off, being relieved they could go back to Gilded Vale and rest back at the inn again.
"That was too close of a call and we did not want another wipe of our party. We have to look for maybe a healer to join us next" said TheGoliath as they traveled back to town and chatted along the way about how right he was about getting a healer in the morning.
