Some things are hard to process. I've been thinking about making my second life a little more my main one. When the real world is often complicated to process, it's normal to turn to relaxation, and I found avakin as a place to evangelize my mind. Of course, that doesn't mean I live or want to live in the game, just that it's healthier than the real world. For now I take it as a learning academy, one where I can talk anonymously and understand what it's like to socialize with other people without physical contact, "I want to believe it's something to speed up learning".
Talking against so many different personalities makes it easy for me to understand certain things. This world gets people to let certain things out that they wouldn't show in the real world, and that helps to better understand each other's nature. People are more spontaneous, more (transparent). Some people think that since it's a video game, you don't know the person because you don't see their face. Because the more you talk to someone the more you get to know them, and even more so if the person is empathetic and liberal from the beginning. For example: it is very easy to differentiate children from adults when they talk, even observing the profile of each one you can notice the differences.
Adults are quieter, (unlike children), they prefer more discreet conversations, and "take the game with a different kind of maturity", I know because I am also an adult.
Now everything has become quieter and slower. It's not exactly the fullness of quiet but, a step is a step. I'm not quite sure what my intention is with the game, but as I figure it out, I'll enjoy the process.
I take the game as a regular thing, I think what, if I will take it as something more relaxed and primordial, then I must do essential things, like work. It is possible to work and it is actually quite relaxed. Working is certainly much better than going from party to party without an exact objective, at least working I get money. The idea is to distract and clear the mind with more adult things, and I don't think it's right to keep interacting with children because of the kind of mentality. Selling a sandwich is relaxing, some people see it as boring but I don't think it is, I even think it is more entertaining than being in a disco waiting for some controversial topic (in the end it doesn't take me anywhere). I take work as a cycle, day by day I come and work a certain amount of time, it's not two hours of work or something like that, but a few shifts, "it's like drinking a cup of coffee every morning".
Of course, I have not said that I will not come back to party, but it is not the same. Now, in the public chat, I am one of those who speak very little, or relatively not at all. When I talk, what I do is waste my mind, while only by observing I can absorb and understand better. "That's why the quiet ones are always smarter", sincerely it is better not to do it, because sometimes, when I want to talk, I screw up. And the fact is that, "among so many things I say", it is natural to say some Shit.
It has happened to all of us, and it will continue to happen to us. But it's better when you can control those things, it's better when everything happens more calmly and I can think better what I'm going to say.
I wish that from one moment to another this game would be full of adults only. But analyzing: real life is like that, it's composed of children and adults in every street, so it's understandable that the synthetic streets of avakin life are the same, after all it's a real type simulation.
Besides being quiet I have met more serious people, people who look at this world from another angle. The real world for me is like a cage, full of monkeys who don't know how to be, and don't know how to live in society. I think we all need a little more schooling before going out into the streets of the real world, not just thinking that everything has only one meaning, when in reality it does not. There are a thousand and one worlds, that's what this game has taught me, that every world is different, that's why you have to be careful and have an open mind when playing, because you never know who you might run into.
Some also take the game as a kind of love school, one where they can learn how to relate to boys and girls, and thus be more prepared. Haha I have also seen cases where they have partners in the game and are married to other people in real life, it is something frequent and some take it as an outlet, (although their partners do not accept it). Whichever way you look at the game is fine, as long as it doesn't affect other players it's fine.
