Hi Everyone,
I’m sure most of you know of this game by now and many of you may have played a game or two. The Splinterlands team have been making various changes throughout their journey trying to give players a better experience. You have logged in this week, there have been a few new things that I find useful and hopefully you feel the same way too.
During seeking the enemy period, we used to see the same old boring screen and most times I would do something else while waiting to be paired up with an opponent. Now you can see that we are shown some fun facts about the game, character info and so on. Want to learn more about the story and game? Be sure to check these cool facts between games
The other thing is loooovvveeee has to be the balance history. I get confused how much I have used for a card for example or what prize I have won in a tournament. Now you can see this all on one page. For example I spent 9000+ DEC to buy a card and I won 800 DEC in a tournament. There are date stamped so you can keep a track on what is coming in and out.
One thing which has been there for some time but I find useful is the profile and stats. Pick a character that represent you and make your profile fun. Then take a look at some stats on how you are tracking in the game. I’m amazed at some of the numbers for myself - 12,285 games at the time of writing, 6390 total wins and my highest rank ever was 65!! Yes top 100 back in good old times.
Lastly, you can transfer DEC in game to another player rather than needing to log into hive-engine to do that. This is easy for those are trading cards and need to pay each other or you need to send DEC to a friend. This reduces a step that could be at least 5 minutes normally. So there you go! I’m sure there some I have missed but these are the ones that will benefit me as a player and can’t wait to see further updates from the Splinterlands team.
