I have an addictive personality so I have to be careful with some games. I took the leap on trying hole games a few months ago and now have close to 15 of them installed on my phone. Most are earning opportunities of some sort (crypto, PayPal, gift cards, etc) that I want to cover eventually for y’all, that is why they are still installed. Since I have been focusing on crypto earning options, I figured why not cover Hole Collector 3D – one of the few hole games I found that pays in crypto. Even if you don’t stop reading here, don’t bother with Hole Collector 3D.
Simple Variation of a Simple Game
Most hole games have evolved into bigger variations; most are no longer doing the simplest format. Hole Collector 3D is still squarely in the first generation of hole games with its main drawing point being you can earn Satoshis while playing.
If only that was a real selling point.
Unfortunately, Hole Collector 3D is not big on earnings. I played for about 10 minutes and earned four (4) Satoshis. That is horrible considering the current exchange, as of this writing, is around 12.22 Satoshi’s for one (1) penny USD.
If earning Satoshi’s is your main reason for playing then you are better off skipping Hole Collector 3D. The current best crypto earning game I have found is still Bitcoin Club Crypto Empire, which I covered recently here on Hive.
Hole Collector Gameplay
The idea of these hole games is simple. Move your hole around and drop items in the level into your hole. After a certain number of items fall into your hole your hole grows. Larger objects obviously require a larger hole to eat.
The levels are always bigger than what you can see so you must move around and figure out where items are. You are timed so do not waste much time enjoying the sparse visuals either. There is a list of items and how many are needed at the top of the screen. You can also use in-game money earned in the levels to upgrade your hole so your goals are easier to achieve later. None I could see were directly tied to earning more Satoshi’s though.
Hole Collector 3D is very basic, I would place it around the first generation of hole games. More recent releases in this genre are much more complex, items are made of many pieces for instance. Think of the differences like a Mario clone coming out that is squarely in the style of Mario Bros when Super Mario 3 is the current high watermark for the genre.
Most will get bored with the basic gameplay in Hole Collector 3D long before they make even 10 Satoshi’s.
Honestly, even for hole game fans, I cannot recommend Hole Collector 3D. Same for anyone wishing to earn Satoshi’s while enjoying a game.
