I am a busy father, at least I often think so. In other words, I do not really have time to play games. But, I often approach this topic from a different angle as well. I have played a lot, when I was younger, and almost whatever game I decided to invest time in, I fell in love it, and I became kind of addicted. As a result, I played a lot of Starcraft, Warcraft, FIFA, and similar games, and way before that, I played games such as Heroes Quest, Subspace (Continuum) Bubble Bubble, Space Invaders, and so on.
But, now I am trying to keep my distance, after all, I have to take care of my kids, my wife, write some articles on Hive, and focus on my real job as well.
However, my kids sometimes play on the phones available in the house. First, they played a game called Foot Gang. It looked stupid at first, but then I gave it a try, and I had a great time playing it. And then came Brawl Stars. At first, I didn't want to even try it, but then I tried it. I didn't really like it, because there were so many characters, so many supers, so many pins, special skills, and understanding the different characters. But, after a while, I actually started to enjoy it, and my kids also asked if I could play, to help them develop their characters.
And now, here I am, actually looking forward to whenever I get the chance to play some Brawl Stars. Actually, to be honest, I would really like to not write this article at the moment, and rather start the app and either play some gem grab or Duo Shutdown with either Nita or with Amber (two of my favorites characters).
What's coming next?
Who knows... probably my kids will get tired of Brawl Stars in some months and then they will find a new game. And probably, since I want to know what my kids are playing and doing, I will check it out, and probably get kind of addicted to that as well! That's life... and I am weak - after all, I am a gamer, I just try to keep a distance in order to get some other things done in life as well!
