College life in the sims 4 [ENG/ESP]

Good evening, friends of Hive, how are you today?, in these days that I have not had internet at home I have been playing one of my favorite games, the sims 4, I decided to create a sim to send it to college, which is one of the game modes that offers the sims, your character can go to college and get a college degree, the truth is that it was entertaining, but I feel it had the potential to have many more options, later I will explain why, I continue to support me with my cell phone data to write, I hope you like the publication.

Buenas noches, amigos de Hive, ¿Cómo están hoy?, en estos días que no he tenido internet en mi hogar me he dedicado a jugar uno de mis juegos favoritos, los sims 4, decidí crear una sim para enviarla a la universidad, que es uno de los modos de juego que tiene ofrece los sims, tu personaje puede ir a la universidad y sacar una carrera universitaria, la verdad es que fue entretenido, pero siento que tenía el potencial para tener muchas más opciones, más adelante les explico por qué, sigo apoyándome con mis datos del celular para poder escribir, espero les agrade la publicación.

The game started with my sim living in a normal house, for her to go to college I had to enroll her and wait for the acceptance letter to arrive, of all this I didn't take a screenshot because I had forgotten how to do it (🤭). The acceptance letter for the university arrives approximately in 3 days in the game, after receiving it I had to choose which institute to send her to, Britechester or Foxbury, I decided to send her to Foxbury institute to study Psychology, which has 12 subjects.

When you are enrolling the sim in the university you can choose whether to go to the university from home or choose 3 of the university establishments for students, I chose to have her stay in a unisex student apartment in the same university so that it would be easier to attend the classes and have a complete university experience (it was not easy to go to the classes anyway, the poor girl was sleepy 🤣).

La partida comenzó con mi sim viviendo en una casa normal, para que fuera a la universidad tenía que matricularla y esperar que llegara la carta de aceptación, de todo esto no tome captura de pantalla porque se me había olvidado como se hacía (🤭). La carta de aceptación para la universidad llega aproximadamente en 3 días en el juego, después de recibirla tuve que escoger a cuál instituto enviarla, si a Britechester o Foxbury, decidí enviarla al instituto Foxbury a estudiar la carrera de Psicología, que tiene 12 materias.

Cuando se está inscribiendo al sim en la universidad se puede elegir si ir a la universidad desde casa o escoger 3 de los establecimientos universitarios para estudiantes, yo escogí que se quedara en un apartamento unisex de estudiantes en la misma universidad para que así se hiciera más sencillo asistir a las clases y tuviera una experiencia universitaria completa (igual no fue sencillo ir a las clases, la pobre vivía con sueño 🤣)

Each week in the game counted as a university semester composed of 4 subjects, for each subject I had to attend classes from Monday to Friday and deliver homework plus special course work. I must say that in this aspect I was a little disappointed because I expected that when she entered classes I could interact with her, with her classmates, do the work there, but it was not so, simply when it is time to go to class the sim disappears and we get a notification that she is in class, you can not see what she is doing.

Cada semana en el juego contaba como un semestre universitario compuesto de 4 materias, para cada materia debía asistir a clases de lunes a viernes y entregar las tareas más los trabajos especiales del curso. Debo decir que en este aspecto me sentí un poco desilusionada porque esperaba que cuando entrara a clases yo pudiera interactuar con ella, con sus compañeros, hacer ahí los trabajos, pero no fue así, simplemente cuando es hora de ir a clases el sim desaparece y sale la notificación de que está en clases, no se puede ver lo que está haciendo.

I joined a club called the vanguardistas with whom she went to some meetings, she went to one or another party and festival, but her energy was very depleted, she fainted from sleep about 4 times, it is not easy to keep her basic needs balanced when she is going to college.

Dentro de todo creo que pude balancear la vida estudiantil de mi sim con su vida social, la uní a un club llamado los vanguardistas con los que puso ir a algunas reuniones, fue a una que otra fiesta y festival, eso si, la energía se le agotaba mucho, se desmayó de sueño como 4 veces, no es sencillo mantener equilibrado sus necesidades básicas cuando se está yendo a la universidad.

I felt satisfied that I got my sim to graduate with a high grade, even though it is not easy many times to go to class on time, although I was also disappointed that for this they do not give you any special recognition as one would expect.

Me sentí satisfecha que logre que mi sim se graduara con una nota notable alta, a pesar de que no es fácil muchas veces ir a clases a tiempo, aunque también me desilusiono que por esto no te dan ningún tipo de reconocimiento especial como uno esperaría.

One of the things I liked is that in the sims you can use a cell phone and it has many options, you can use it to go places, get fame, talk to your friends, it is fun because people call you offering you things, even trying to scam you. I was called many times by a woman asking me for money for her business, she seemed trustworthy, so I helped her, I was not wrong, because at the end she gave me many more simoleons (the game currency) than I lent her.

Una de las cosas que me gusto es que en lo sims se puede utilizar un celular y tiene muchas opciones, se puede utilizar para ir a lugares, conseguir fama, hablar con tus amigos, es divertido porque te llaman personas ofreciéndote cosas, incluso intentando estafarte. Me llamo muchas veces una mujer pidiéndome dinero para su negocio, pareció confiable, así que la ayude, no me equivoque, pues al final me dio muchos más simoleones (la moneda del juego) de los que le preste.

Finally my sim's graduation day arrived, what can I say friends, I found it disappointing, I thought that as such they would have a graduation event, but it was not so, they simply put the graduation clothes and my sim when she got the notification to attend disappeared and then appeared as if she had already attended, you could not see a celebration, or interact.

In conclusion I must say that it is not bad in general the university mode of the sims, it was very entertaining to play it in these days without internet, but I feel that it had a lot of potential that was not covered, I would give 5 out of 10 to this game mode.

Por fin llego el día de la graduación de mi sim, que puedo decir amigos, me pareció decepcionante, pensé que como tal tendrían un evento de graduación, pero no fue así, simplemente le pusieron la ropa de graduación y mi sim cuando le salió la notificación de asistir desapareció para luego aparecer como que ya asistió, no se pudo ver una celebración, ni interactuar.

En conclusión debo decir que no es malo como tal el modo universitario de los sims, fue muy entretenido jugarlo en estos días sin internet, pero siento que tenía muchísimo potencial que no fue abarcado, yo le daría 5 de 10 a este modo de juego.
