Wie gefällt euch der Art-Style von Return to Monkey Island?
Es gibt wieder einen neuen Reveal-Trailer mit Gameplay-Footage und wie befürchtet, ist der Stil überdreht comichaft, erinnert mich eher an Day of the Tentacle, mir hat die Pixel-Art von Monkey Island 1 und 2 am besten gefallen, aber vielleicht bin ich auch gebiased, da ich damit aufgewachsen bin. Retro-Nostalgie.
Denke, wenn schon ein Tech/Art-Style-Update, dann eher Richtung VR, das wäre cool.
Was denkt ihr? Mittlerweile hat Ron Gilbert die Comment-Funktion wegen zu vieler Hate-Comments auf seinem Blog abgedreht.

How do you like the art style of Return to Monkey Island?
There's another new reveal trailer with actual gameplay footage from the game and as I feared, the style is over-the-top, uber comic style, reminds me more of Day of the Tentacle, I liked the pixel art from Monkey Island 1 and 2 the best, but maybe I'm biased since I grew up with it. Retro Nostalgia.
If anything a tech/art style update would make more sense towards VR, that would be cool.
What do you guys think? In the meantime, Ron Gilbert has turned off the comment function on his blog because of too many hate comments regarding the new art style.
