I waited a very long time before I got a PS5 and do not regret doing so. I was content with a PS4 for a very long time and the only reason I upgraded is because playing co-op games with my brother when he was on PS5 and I was on PS4 was techinically possible, but there was a ton of bugs and lag issues because his hardware was so much better than mine. It was a worthwhile purpose for other reasons as well such as massively decreased load times and I regret nothing as far as purchasing it is concerned.
