The Season 26 of the game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is successfully over now, and my experience of grinding to aim higher rank before the season end was so, though I can also feel the frusturation of the players playing to rank up their ranks due to some users just tripping in the rank mode because they wanted to lose more stars to aim lower ranking and they could go back to lower rank in the next season. Ah, they are doing that? because there are a lot of benefits if you do that. Since the lower rankings, if you are not new to playing MLBB anymore, it has been very easy, and the game when you play in the lower ranks is already a piece of cake. You can always be the MVP, you can add Maniac and Savage to your account's roster, and you can also raise the winrate percentage of your hero and have him on the higher rank lists in your areas. However, if you get caught by the MLBB team, you can expect that they will ban your account.
But still, even though there are a lot of players like that, and I still managed to rank up our account to Mythic V before the season ended.
Then, I also experienced having to rank up my account while playing solo after that to Mythic IV.
I didn't play with Jude again because I was afraid that I might be the reason to make his points go down and back to Legend 1. I am trying to rank up to Mythic lll again but, sadly, I didn't manage to have some time to play again until the end of the season.
Actually, it's not really important if you reach mythic rank. This rank will be displayed on your account, yes, but when the season ends, you will go back and start at Epic lV if you reached a higher rank.
Any mythic levels, or even the Mythical Glory ranks, will go back to Epic and Legends depending on how many points they earned in the last season.
Anyway, last year, before the season would end, there was this thing that I was waiting for. They announced that Hanabi would undergo a revamp, and so there are a lot of things that they will change about her, and I was excited about that because I am also a marksman when I play as a solo player, and she was always the marksman that I was using in epic rank aside from Layla.
How have I learned to use this hero?
I learned about this hero from my older sister, since she is a marksman when we are playing and I am a mage or support. And sometimes when I don't have something to do and am bored, I am always watching her play, and I have already learned how to use the skills. I enjoy her skills because they are so painful when the build is completed.
Now, the purpose of this blog is to share my thoughts or reactions after using the newly revamped Hanabi Marksman hero of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang as a player or Hanabi user. I am not a professional player, and I don't really know how to review a hero of a 5 vs. 5 mobile game, but I will try to express and/or explain my thoughts to you.
Let's start with a comparison of the old and new looks of Hanabi.
Which version do I prefer?
There is this meme that Hanabi was moved on from Hayabusa, which explains why she looks thin in her new version compared to her old version. Lol But honestly speaking, I prefer her new version compared to the old version when it comes to costumes and weapons because it looks prettier than the old version. But I really don't like the new version of her face because it's not very well detailed compared to her face in the old version. Like she was taking a selfie using a filtered camera, even her nose was almost erased. But I think it doesn't matter; we can still solve that by using skin as a cover, but I don't have a Hanabi skin yet, and I am just using a free trial card.
I'm glad that Moonton is giving me a chance to use Hanabi's epic skin, which costs a thousand pesos to buy. Lol, I still have more hours to enjoy playing while using her in the Classic, rank, brawl, and mayhem using this cool skin. HAHA
Now let's talk about the exciting part, which is that we will discuss her skills.
What are my thoughts about these changes to the skills?
- My first impression when I use her after she's been revamped?
My first impression is that I didn't know that even her skills would change. Because all I know is they will just change the graphic design of her to look like what I have discussed above, I didn't know that they would also change or make her skills better, which is why, when I first used her after she was revamped, I was confused when I clicked on her first skill.
because it's different already. I mean, Hanabi's old first skill made it so easy to make her attack the opponent. Even though she only has the first and second skill, she doesn't have her ultimate ready, and her build is not complete, she can kill her opponent even though the game has just begun.
However, if you watch the video that I uploaded above, I was farming at the beginning, right? Because it's not easy for me to attack the opponent already, and you need to farm to buy equipment because her first skill is so much slower than her old skill. And it was not fast to attack your opponent, and even if you were fully built, your HP didn't increase while attacking your opponent, compared to before when, when you attacked your opponent while using your first skill, your HP increased even though your opponent was attacking you.
But I was impressed by the changes to her first skill because you can now use it to escape to some of your opponent's heroes that are using some sets, especially tanks, during the clash. Because Hanabi couldn't escape some tank sets, she couldn't do anything when she was captured by the tanks, and all she can do is wait for her team members to save her. But now, if you can watch the video while I was attacking my opponents during the clash and my tank set, Tigreal still managed to do a set, but it looks like nothing to me because I used my first skill to escape and I am still able to continue attacking him.
- If either, do I prefer her old or new skills?
Her new version of the first skill was good. I liked it because sometimes the opponents are always using flicker and or conceal roam to do some sudden attack, especially the tanks like Atlas and or Tigreal, and it was very hard to do a position, especially if you are a marksman, and even though you're still at the back, they can still get you. So this first skill is a good idea, especially if Hanabi in the late game is so powerful and painful that even though she was captured by the set of tanks, she can still save herself from the sudden attack, and there's a possibility that she can manage to escape and kill the opponents.
I was just a little bit sad because her skill is already slower and you need to farm, and I forgot to mention that her first skill can also increase a little HP for her, but there's a few seconds of waiting time before you can also use it again, compared to the old version where you could also gain HP while attacking the opponent.
If I will be asked which I prefer, the old (fast attacking speed using her first skill and adding more HP while attacking opponent) or new version of her skill (can use to escape opponent's sets but slower attack speed)? I think I prefer the new one because it's very rare for the marksman to be able to escape to the set of the opponents, and they always need to be protected by the tank. But Hanabi's skill can already do it with or without the protection of the tank. Don't mind the slower attack speed. As long as you know how to do proper positioning of your hero and are observant, and you also farm to buy some equipment, it's not a problem.
Practicing her newly revamped skills
HANABI BUILD/EQUIPMENT/ITEMS
The builds are still the same, I think, but there are a few items that I am not familiar with. I am not a professional player, so I don't know if the equipment or build I should buy depends on the heroes that my opponents use. I am not the type of player who fixes my equipment based on what the top user in our country is using. That's what I already use. I think the builds are dependent on the person who is using the hero; you can do some experimenting, trying, and mixing of equipment if you want to, but it's not a basis for winning as long as you know how to use the hero and how to control it.
HANABI EMBLEMS
This is the emblem set that I have used on her since the beginning, when I tried using her. As a mage/support user before, I really didn't know what an emblem was for a marksman. There are different emblems set for each role, and it depends on the heroes. I just copied the emblem set that my mentor gave me from the old squad, where I belonged then, and so I was using this emblem set for her until now.
CONCLUSION...
So this is my reaction to and my thoughts about Hanabi's new look, or revamp. I am not a professional player, so I really don't know how to review the story of a game that I am using or playing. But I hope that you enjoyed reading this one.
This is my third time publishing a blog about playing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang here in this community, and I enjoyed sharing again my thoughts as a not-so-pro player here.
By the way, I created a Youtube account for uploading some future games' short clips, and it was just for uploading videos for blogging. This is my first time using Capcut to edit video, so I am sorry if the video is not that good.
Thanks for reading!
