We were already in Indigo, and after rushing through its Pokémon Center, we decided to head straight for its gym, where a great battle awaited us. This time, we would face the type that had the advantage against our team: Electric.
At first, the Gym trainers quickly fell to the onslaught of our Sudowoodo, which was supporting Dragonite. Unlike in the first generation, this time the gym doors weren't locked, so we were able to go straight to the Gym Leader, Lt. Surge.
He started the battle with his star Pokémon, Raichu, which used Double Team combined with its Electric moves in a very effective combination. But we had an ace up our sleeve: Quagsire. Thanks to its Ground typing, it was immune to Raichu's attacks, and we ended up defeating it using several switches, as well as its two Electrodes.
Then came their Electabuzz and Magnetron, and if we didn't give them a chance, we combined Sudowoodo, Dragonite, and Feraligar for excellent synergy, always saving the starter's powerful attacks to finish off each battle.
That's how we earned the Thunder Badge, the first of the second league we'd face in this game, which would open the doors to a Kanto full of surprises. Are you ready to discover them?
El Gym eléctrico Pokemon Liquid Crystal Capitulo #33 (Es-En)
Ya estábamos en añil y luego de pasar con mucha prisa por su centro Pokemon decidimos ir de una a por su gym donde nos esperaba un gran combate, esta vez tocaría enfrentar al tipo que llevaba ventaja contra nuestro equipo el eléctrico.
En un principio los entrenadores del Gym cayeron rápido ante el empuje de nuestro Sudowoodo que apoyaba a Dragonite. A diferencia de la primera generación esta vez las puertas del gimnasio no estaban cerradas, así pudimos ir de una a po| el líder del Gym, Lt. Surge.
Este inicio el combate con su Pokemon estrella Raichu, el cual uso su Doble Equipo combinado con sus movimientos eléctricos en una combinación muy buena, pero teníamos un haz bajo la manga Quagsire, este gracias a su tipo tierra inmuniso los ataques de Raichu y terminamos por derrotarlo usando varios cambios, así como a sus 2 Electrodes.
Luego vinieron su Electabuzz y su magnetron, a quienes si no dimos oportunidad entre Sudowoodo, Dragonite y Feraligar hicimos muy buena sinergia siempre dejando los poderosos ataques del inicial para cerrar cada combate.
Así nos hicimos con la medalla trueno, la primera de la segunda liga que nos tocaría enfrentar en este juego y que abriría las puertas a un Kanto lleno de sorpresas, están listos para descubrirlas.
