Since it was 5 AM my journey from home, I was in dire need of coffee cause otherwise, I won’t be able to function properly 😆
At the airport, they didn’t have Starbucks but this Old Town White coffee, a franchise that sells Malaysian dishes and coffee styles. They had some similar menu like singaporean kopitiam styled coffee. I ended up getting their menu set, a cappuccino with an egg and garlic toast. This was such a good deal considering the price that was quite steep. I also tried their black coffee and that was pretty strong too!
Anyhow, since I had something to do and some new reports to finish and research, I stayed there. Their coffee felt a bit strong but it was just uniquely kopitiam styled coffee. The milk was more dominant than the coffee itself but it was strong enough that it actually involved Robusta beans in it. Having to drink that coffee, I know I’d get a bit buzzed for quite a while.
Though I had some nap inside the plane since I was so bored that I forgot to bring my wired earphones. To this day, I don’t know if I am allowed to even use bluetooth tws in flight. There I was, despite having quite a strong coffee, I was able to nap. Would I really recommend Old Town White Coffee? Unless you’re a laoban, which basically means you’re a boss or shop owner, I don’t really think so. It’s extremely expensive and that was my first time and last time to ever check out Old Town hahaha
Once I landed in KL, my friend offered to eat but I told her that I just wanted to drink coffee 😂We ended up going to a nearby place and I was surprised by the coffee portion. I had iced cappuccino and it was pretty tall glass.
Then, another lovely gift is from ! I mentioned to her that as long as there’s coffee I am good. So, she gave me some coffee to try 😂and this is going to be my 4th. I am sure though despite being buzzed with all the coffee, I'd sleep just fine.
My coffee shenanigans aren't going to stop here. I have a few places I’d love to check out soon. There are some cool cafes all around worth checking out and especially if you’re into hiding from the sun with a good coffee!
