Greetings!
It was December 2021 when I finished weeding out my vegetable garden and from that three months span, a lot of weeds have again sprouted all over my vegetable garden including of course on the raised beds where some of my tomato crops are planted.
Summer officially started last week in our country so it is the perfect time to weed out my vegetable garden because there is no more rain until the month of May but the sun is scorching hot between 10 o'clock in the morning and until 5 o'clock in the afternoon, so, weeding out is still quite not easy.
By the way, here's the blog when I last weed out my vegetable garden.
I also realized that weeding out is a cycle job for gardeners unless the weeds do not grow again.
This is officially the start of my weeding-out cycle for this year. I do no know how many times I am going to weed out my vegetable garden this year since I only officially started gardening last July of 2021.
But since it is now summer in our country and there is no rain until the month of May I think the weeds will not grow that fast because of the absence of rain.
I started weeding on sections where my tomatoes are planted. Below is a photo of the section of my vegetable garden where some of my tomato crops are planted and it is where I am going to start weeding.
This section of my vegetable took me less than two hours to weed because I am very extra careful not to damage the young flowers and fruits of my tomatoes. Not only that, the sun is scorching hot, the heat makes me tired a lot faster than usual.
As you can see in the photo below I have to cover up and use long-sleeved shirts to cover myself from the son. I did not wear pants because it is so humid while I am removing the weeds not even a single leaf in my garden moved because of the absence of wind.
By the way, summer here in our country is usually accompanied by the absence of wind, imagine how hot is that going to be.
Me while weeding out
Halfway through my weeding, I felt very thirsty, I had to stop and drink lots of water, cold water is the best in this kind of weather.
As you can see in the photo below, a purple-colored thing is present on the right side of the photo, that is a chair where I am sitting while weeding and the black thing on top of it is my hand gloves.
By the way, I recommend that you wear hand gloves whenever you are weeding out, it gives a layer of protection to your hands.
Halfway through
Then I resumed weeding out after drinking cold water right from the refrigerator. And after about thirty minutes I finished weeding out the entire section. In this new experience that I acquired, I realized that weeding out is quite time-consuming especially when you are weeding out a section where vegetable crops are present.
Below is a side-by-side comparison of the section of my vegetable garden after weeding it out. Looking at it is very satisfying.

After I finished, I immediately relocated to another part of my vegetable garden to weed out my other tomato crops.
The side-by-side comparison photo below is one of my tomatoes near my mango tree where I harvested mangoes a few days ago.

Here is another tomato that I weed out, this tomato is also from the mango tree that I recently harvested.

And below is a tomato crop that is near my Apple Mango. Of all my tomato crops this one is one of the two where a lot of weeds are present and I actually enjoyed pulling them all out.

This next tomato is near the line of my black seeded string beans.

That is all for now my fellow gardeners. It is not easy to do weeding but if you love what you are doing it is still very enjoyable and very satisfying.
