Hello friends, I wish you a week full of great successes. This week again I join this creativegarden challenge by answering the prompt:
Garden of Imprints: How have the people in your life left their mark on your garden?
Undoubtedly the person who has left a mark in my garden has been my mother, from her I learned that love for the garden. Since I was a child I have seen her love and enjoy her garden, but this had not become my passion until I had my own house and I dared to plant a plant, but having one and discovering the magic of nature then without realizing it, others and others are added.
From my mother I have obtained some medicinal plants that have been a marvel, since it has become a custom in my family to drink infusions or tea very often. Usually these teas are prepared with plants grown at home. We also share ornamental and fruit plants, from her house to mine plants come and go because I also consider her garden mine and we are always exchanging.
Another of the people who have left their mark on my garden and perhaps one of the indirect influences for which today I have a love for plants, has been my friend and former co-worker named Carmen, she is now retired, I remember that she always told me A house without plants is not a house.
Today I can affirm that a house without plants lacks that energy that gives life, it will never be the same a house with plants than without them. So if you don't have them, try it and you will see that your house acquires a much more charming nuance and that will be reflected in your style and quality of life.
A very appreciated gift that I consider the queen of my garden has been my beautiful adenium, given to me by my great friend Adriana. This plant is admired by all the people who visit my house, it enchants them with its splendor and gives my house an incomparable color.
I have several orchids that most of them have been given to me by my sister, but I am just starting to grow them because their cultivation is different from other plants and I consider it slower. They have not bloomed yet but I hope that soon they will surprise me with a flower.
My dad has also left his mark in my garden since one day he showed up home with a beautiful rain lily, although he is not interested in growing plants, that one captivated him. This is another plant that shows off in my garden every rain and always reminds me of him.
Lately I have shared some plants with my neighbor, who was not a plant lover, but my desert rose (adenium) and my sanseviera caught her attention, I gave her some cuttings and that was the beginning for her to go crazy with love for plants. π I tell her she went crazy because now she has become a collector of cacti and succulents and already has about a hundred. She also gave me some cacti π΅ that adorn my window.
Many people are leaving imprints in our garden and so are we, it is the magic of sharing that desire for nature and that every day fills us with happiness.
This is my entry in the weekly challenge of creativegarden. Hugs π€
