The garden wall is made of zinc material which is multifunctional to support types of creeping plants.
Gardening close to neighboring houses will be very problematic in densely populated areas like the village area where I live. Especially if you want the garden to look neat and aesthetic. This will be a big problem for me who always puts neatness first.
You can see for yourself that in the last few months I have been diligent in gardening. It makes me even more addicted to making my garden neater and more beautiful. I want when I take a portrait of my garden, I want the results of the photo shoot to show that my garden is aesthetic, not just neat but also beautiful.
My husband says that I am an ambitious person and a perfectionist. I won't stop until I get what I want. Ehehe. And that is right. My husband, who has lived with me for almost two years, already knows my character. I am very ambitious and a perfectionist. So, he knows what I want.
I want to have a beautiful garden right next to my room. Every time I open the window in the morning, I will be grateful for the fresh plants that always produce fruit to be harvested.
Thank you to my husband who has done that. He helped me get rid of a lot of rubbish that was previously scattered on the ground in my garden. Then, my husband also sorted the rocks mixed with the soil. My husband has finished his work by making several raising beds. Now it is purely my job to maintain my garden because my husband will focus on his work again.
In this garden activity I will show you the process of making a multifunctional garden wall. I hired 3 workers to help make my wish come true. Meanwhile, my husband was not at home because he was out of town for work.
Reasons for Selection of Zinc Material
There are lots of materials that we can use to make garden walls. Starting from wood, brick combined with cement, iron wire, and zinc. Of the many choices, I chose zinc material. The main reason is because I have used zinc from renovating my house last year. The zinc has leaked and cannot be used for roofing. So, it was the right choice to use that used zinc for my garden wall.
Using used zinc for my garden materials also brings an aesthetically pleasing effect. Did you know that the rustier the color of the zinc, the more aesthetic it will look with a rustic effect?
Apart from the aesthetic function and use of used items from my house, zinc material also has strong properties that are no less than brick and iron materials.
Used as Plant Support
Another important reason why I chose zinc as a garden wall material is because it is multifunctional, it can be used as plant support for creeping plants later.
This is because using zinc will require a wooden frame. From the wooden frame that supports the zinc, various hanging tools can be added using nails.
Later, these nails can be used to hang pots, or to complement plant support for creeping plants. In a future blog, I will show this function if I place the plants in this zinc fence area.
Meanwhile, I already have large bogenvillea flowers. I also tied the stems of the bogenville flower plants to the wooden fence. I hope the bogenville flowers will form neatly along the garden wall.
I love the color of the brightly lit bogenvillea flowers. Well, FYI, this is my late mom's favorite bogenville flower. So, I let this flower grow in my garden now.
I'm very happy with how my garden wall is turning out now. Combined with the bright sky, my garden became what I wanted. With an aesthetic garden wall with a rustic effect from natural rust colored zinc. So, do you like my garden wall design?
