Last night hubby harvested some of his pechay for us to consume and had it as our dinner. Since I was so busy in the kitchen I didn't get the chance to take a picture of the time he harvested it. He just handed me the pechay. I told him it's too much as we can't consume it all. So this morning we still have the pechay that I cooked last night. I added pork to it to some taste.
I even bring some at work since we have a lot.
This morning while I was busy washing the laundry I noticed that hubby was busy with his garden when I checked on him he already harvested his sword pepper and was about to start harvesting his pechay plants so I stopped washing my laundry and grabbed my phone to take some pictures.
After harvesting his pechay he proceeds to his tomatoes. Of course, I took pictures and recorded a short clip while he was busy harvesting his tomatoes.
After harvesting his tomatoes he cleaned them up especially the pechay since it had some soil on the bottom part. He also has to check to also if everything is good to sell. When everything was ready he directly sold them to the public market near our house.
I didn't get the chance to take pictures of him while doing those cleaning and preparing as I was busy finishing up my laundry and hanging them after.
Well, we are both working daily so we are always busy in the morning.
A few minutes later hubby arrived from the market and he told me he sold everything for 280 pesos. Not that bad, he asked me if it was okay if he would just give me 100 pesos, well I don't complain since he is the one who works hard for his garden. At least I won't have to give him 50 pesos allowance for today. I just hope that he will try to save some of his money and not spend it on his vices.
Since I need to buy milk for my son today I just added 20 pesos from the 100 pesos that my husband gave me so I can buy 300 grams of milk for my son.
Anyways, hubby also has another batch of pechay seedlings, soon to be planted again. I guess it's the 5th batch of his pechay seedlings. I think I need to buy more pots so hubby can plant more pechay and sell more. I am sure he will be happy to have more pots I guess. Oh by the way we still have our Kangkong planted in our old basin. Whenever we want to eat Kangkong then we can harvest them anytime. I already harvested twice from our Kangkong plants. Both Kangkong and pechay is my favorite kind of vegetable. I am more into leafy kinds of vegetables.
That's all for todays garden blog. I am happy that I was able to share the journey of my husband's mini garden at home.
God bless everyone.
