we are now pretty much officially in summer survival mode
this week day temperatures push forty degrees.
going to a night market yesterday, the thermometer registered 43 degrees as I was leaving the farm.
check out my post about the market here:
@bigorna1/market-day-sunday
on the way the sky started clouding over and soon after I got there, a massive thunder storm took place, wind gusts that blew stalls away and then the soothing rain came down copiously and refreshed the whole scene.
it was no longer hot but it wasn´t cold either. it felt just like a monsoon rain would feel if we were in India or Thailand maybe.
you just take your T-shirt off, squeeze the water out of it, put it back on and continue your day.
after the rain stopped, confusion was gone and the market sprang to life.
it will be an edition to remember.
today, as it is too hot for much, it is an early start, off loading the plants from the van, watering them and the rest of the nursery, digging some potatoes out and not much else.
keeping to the shade and well hydrated. filled up the bathtub for an afternoon dip when the heat becomes unbearable.
thank you for stopping by 🙏
wishing us all a peaceful weekend
