Hello Garden friends ❤️ how is the weather where you live? Does it affect the plants you are planting... I hope everything is fine
A few days ago I harvested fruit in front of my house. do you know what fruit this is?
Matoa fruit or Latin name
• Ordo: Sapindales
• Kerajaan: Plantae
• Famili: Sapindaceae
• Spesies: P. pinnata
This fruit is included in many tropical plants that grow especially in Indonesia (Kalimantan) and is now starting to spread throughout Indonesia.
This fruit usually bears fruit 2 - 3 times per year depending on the climatic conditions the fruit grows
Matoa fruit trees are trees that will grow tall, but the tree my father made at my house is not very tall. because after every harvest, every branch that rises high will be pruned so that the branches spread wide to the sides.
In this harvest, there are quite a lot of matoa fruit. The fruit we harvest is around 30-35 kg.
The unique fruit taste makes this matoa much liked by children and adults. when the matoaa fruit is very ripe. then the resulting taste is very sweet and fat. Well, there are some matoa that taste like rambutan, there are also some that taste like durian fruit with a very identical smell.
Well, coincidentally the matoa fruit that I have at home tastes a little like durian with fruit flesh that slightly resembles longan fruit.
