A few weeks after the inauguration of El Viverito de la vereda del lago I decide to go and see it on a cloudy Sunday, in the afternoon I passed by looking for @pcojines as he also wanted to go.
Al llegar el clima pronosticaba lluvia, pero esperábamos que no nos dañara el paseo. El viverito está ubicado en el parque vereda del lago el lugar es muy acogedor estoy seguro que de noche la iluminación hace de éste un sitio muy atractivo.
On arrival the weather was predicting rain, but we hoped it wouldn't spoil our walk. The nursery is located in the park vereda del lago the place is very cosy and I am sure that at night the lighting makes this a very attractive place.
Cuenta con un área abierta para sentarte y disfrutar de bebidas y comidas, en esta caso probamos una pizza con jamón y tomates secos que nos pareció muy buena, de verdad la recomiendo.
Al fondo tienen la instalación para el cultivo y cuidado de las diferentes plantas que hay en el sitio.
It has an open area to sit and enjoy drinks and food, in this case we tried a pizza with ham and sundried tomatoes which we thought was very good, I really recommend it.
At the back there is a facility for the cultivation and care of the different plants on the site.
Este lugar es un proyecto que surge de los mismos trabajadores del Parque de la Vereda del Lago, con el fin de obtener ingresos adicionales.
En el viverito se cultivan y siembran plantas autóctonas del lugar para resembrar el parque además las personas que quieran adquirir alguna de ellas pueden comprarlas a bajos costos.
La iniciativa de este sitio es genial, es de fácil acceso dentro de la ciudad que permite a las personas que lo visiten desconectarse y rodearse de naturaleza, respirar aire limpio además de compartir deliciosa comida y bebidas.
El lugar presenta un plus ya que es pet friendly así que puedes llevar a tu mascota con su respectiva correa y será bienvenido. Esa tarde vi varios peludos disfrutar del lugar.
This place is a project that arose from the same workers of the Vereda del Lago Park, in order to obtain additional income.
In the nursery, plants native to the area are grown and sown to replant the park, and people who want to buy some of them can also buy them at low cost.
The initiative of this place is great, it is easily accessible within the city that allows people who visit it to disconnect and surround themselves with nature, breathe clean air and share delicious food and drinks.
The place has the added bonus of being pet friendly so you can bring your pet on a leash and it will be welcome. That afternoon I saw several furry ones enjoying the place.

El espacio cuenta con un bohío, en ocasiones realizan actividades especiales con emprendedores de la ciudad ese día que lo visité había un bazar, adicional a eso hay un parque para los niños y un lugar muy acogedor con plantas ornamentales para tomar fotografías. Al llegar lo primero que ves es un estanque que están acondicionando aún, pronto en él habrán especies acuáticas que le aportarán aún más belleza al sitio.
Aplaudo este tipo de iniciativas en la ciudad, espero sigan dándose y más aún cuando son acciones que promueven la conservación de la flora en espacios urbanos.
The space has a bohío, sometimes they do special activities with entrepreneurs of the city, that day I visited there was a bazaar, in addition to that there is a park for children and a very cozy place with ornamental plants to take pictures. When you arrive the first thing you see is a pond that is still being prepared, soon there will be aquatic species that will add even more beauty to the site.
I applaud this kind of initiatives in the city, I hope they will continue and even more so when they are actions that promote the conservation of flora in urban spaces.
