Hi everybody! It's been quite a while since I haven't come around to share my garden stories. This tends to happen every couple of weeks, especially whenever I feel I just want to drink coffee and not sleep, then spend the day looking at the sun and birds trying to keep up with life (trying to be funny, take one).
Anyways, I come once in a while and check your amazing garden posts, which inspire me to plan my ideal garden and my next steps. I have been here in my first backyard for over 7 months already, and I feel proud to have harvested basil, squash, tomatoes, cilantro, and paprika. The latest harvest was a couple of cute tomatoes that I show you below.
My tree seedlings are fine. Palm trees, cypresses, lemon, and silver birches. The things that I have been trying to protect from the ants, a little bit unsuccessfully, are the roses, and the jasmine tree. 
I wanted to find an ecological way to control them since I don't want to purchase and apply some weird chemical that could harm the soil, bees, my dogs, or other things.
This is probably the most random stuff that I have done so far. I am obsessed with having hundreds of trees, so I went out to walk with my dogs, and just in front of my house I see this half pomegranate fruit, so when I came back, I picked it up to throw it up in the garbage but instead I started to wonder if some of those seeds would germinate if I sow them, let's say next spring.
I decided to extract the seeds inside the pomegranate, and store them on paper, so maybe next spring I will sow them properly and try my luck with that plant, that I know nothing of, and that is a mystery to me. If some of you know anything about planting, growing this, I beg you, in light of me.

¡Hola a todos! Ha pasado bastante tiempo desde que no he venido a compartir mis historias de jardín. Esto tiende a suceder cada cierta cantidad de semanas, especialmente cuando siento que solo quiero tomar café y no dormir, luego paso el día mirando el sol y los pájaros tratando de seguir el ritmo de la vida (tratando de ser gracioso, toma uno).
De todos modos, vengo de vez en cuando y reviso sus increíbles publicaciones sobre jardines, que me inspiran a planificar mi jardín ideal y mis próximos pasos. Ya llevo más de 7 meses aquí en mi primer patio y me siento orgulloso de haber cosechado albahaca, calabaza, tomates, cilantro y paprika. La última cosecha fueron unos lindos tomates que les muestro a continuación.
Mis plántulas de árboles están bien. Palmeras, cipreses, limoneros y abedules plateados. Las cosas que he estado tratando de proteger de las hormigas, un poco sin éxito, son las rosas y el árbol de jazmín.
Quería encontrar una forma ecológica de controlarlas ya que no quiero comprar y aplicar algún químico extraño que pueda dañar el suelo, las abejas, mis perros u otras cosas.
Esta es probablemente la cosa más aleatoria que he hecho hasta ahora: Estoy obsesionado con tener cientos de árboles, así que salí a pasear con mis perros, y justo en frente de mi casa veo esta fruta granada a medias, así que cuando volví, la recogí para tirarla a la basura. pero en cambio comencé a preguntarme si algunas de esas semillas germinarían si las siembro la próxima primavera.
Decidí extraer las semillas de la granada, y guardarlas en papel, así que quizás la próxima primavera las siembre y pruebe suerte con esa planta, de la que no sé nada, y que es un misterio para mí. Si alguno de ustedes sabe algo de sembrar, de hacer crecer granadas, se lo ruego, ilumíneme.
