Greetings to all the workers of the hive garden! It's been a while since I've been able to update with my garden, I've been working on other projects and haven't been able to decicarle to this space that I love so much. But today I bring you pictures of my paprika plants.
Months ago, for my earth day post, I planted some paprika seeds with my baby. I loved enjoying my little one feeling the contact with the soil, her expressions of amazement and happiness were unique and that special moment I will treasure forever.
As the days went by the little plants came out. I followed up on them since I love to see, especially the paprika seedlings, how they come out of the seeds. So little by little they grew and I transplanted them into a large non-functioning pot in my kitchen, which I drilled underneath to create adequate filtration.
The weather has been quite cooperative and the plants have grown to a considerable size. I was thinking of transplanting them to a flower bed or other larger container, but to my surprise, yesterday morning I found a small paprika hanging from one of the seedlings and I see that they have many flowers so the harvest is ahead of schedule.
I am very happy that the first seeds my baby planted are now plants and even better that we will have a small harvest. That makes me feel proud and happy that my little girl with only 2 years old has the opportunity to know about the self-sufficiency garden and that she will be able to eat a salad with her first harvest in life. I hope this will be the first of many harvests, as we are high consumers of greens, fruits and vegetables at home.
My recommendation to everyone is that we are not hindered from harvesting our own food. I live in an apartment in the city, specifically on a third floor and that has not prevented me from having my plants and now waiting for the harvest of my peppers.
I hope you like this publication and see you next month. Kind regards to all of you from Venezuela.
