Greetings to everyone,
Hello fellow hivians and gardeners. Im so grateful that im here again in this community that there are many ideas to learn in caring plant vegetables and other plants that give beauty to our yard. Today I want to share with you how I save and repot my orchids. Because of the typhoon, some of them, I don't know where they landed during the typhoon. After the storm I was overwhelmed with stress and frustration at what had happened. But its okay we survived somehow. And because I love my plants I tried to save them all to survive even super damage and one of them is my orchids plant. I just picked it up one by one because it was blown away by the strong wind. I first tied them to a large cut bodies of tree that I buried in the ground and watered daily and placed them in a place not directly in the sun temporarily so as not to eventually die.
And over a few days, weeks and months it gradually survives and gives flowers and the roots of others have crept into the tied wood and there are new small orchids.
And today I found some that can be used to repot orchids. I have pots, coconut husk and charcoal.
The first thing I did was prepare the pot, put charcoal, coconut husk and put the orchids. Add charcoal, coconut husk again until it is full. Repeat the process until finished. And hose with water, put in a place not directly in the sun so as not to wither and turn yellow leaves.
And I was able to repot four today and the others are next time.
And the next step is I'm planning to buy orchids fertilizer and plant vitamins and soon i will apply it. Or making some organic fertilizer. And also i will post here an update if there is an improvement. If somebody here has an idea to care or best care for orchids please share to us guys. I really appreciate it.
Have a nice day.
GOD BLESS EVERYONE 😇😇♥️♥️
