"The best thing about life is to continue receiving abundance from what you have sowed a long way back." - Unknown
HELLO, HELLO to all the amazing friends of the Hive🤗! How are you today? As always, I hope you are all blessed and safe this Valentine's month💞! A month full of love and abundance. It's been a while since I posted my last blog😅 and my garden moments today have inspired me to write something for today.
Well speaking of abundance, I will be sharing with you my garden harvest today. As you know, I've been growing hot peppers and bell peppers in our school garden and I've been harvesting from them since late December. I got busy for the past two-three weeks so today, I gave my garden a quick visit to check if they were ready for another round of harvest.
The weather was not so good today in our place. Actually, we've been missing the sunshine for weeks now but the vast clouds kept hiding it from us and even poured us a lot of rain showers😂. Even though I am not completely happy about it but I am sure my garden plants loved it and so are the weeds😅.
Told you, right?😂... I was just away for some time and the weeds are throwing a party! Anyway, good thing that my hot pepper plants are still surviving the competition!
I was overwhelmed looking at these bounties. With gratefulness, I excitedly picked all the ready-to-harvest hot peppers and left the young ones for the next harvest.
I definitely enjoyed the quick visit and the harvesting moments in my garden today. I am thankful for the harvest and humbled by the fact that I have been harvesting my spices since late December last year. And until now it continued to bless me abundantly. This was the fifth harvest in a row🤩, amazing right?
Yahoo! Feeling HOT with my hot pepper😂🥰!
Thank you for the blessing😍!
Of course, I also checked on my bell peppers 🫑 grown on the other side of the plant bed. Although, I slowly losing hope in them because they did not grow healthier and bouncier as expected I am still grateful and happy seeing them bearing a harvest. Still striving and surviving despite being unhealthy. As I look at them closely, they seemed like telling me that they want to give me the best they could despite the unfavorable conditions that they are in😊! You know, I felt sad about it yet extremely thankful.
Because I am not fond of anything spicy for my cooking, you may ask what would I do with my harvest then. Well, I was able to raise funds from my harvest and I would diligently and honestly remit the sales to my colleague who is in charge of the record and fund keeping. Any amount raised, big or small, is saved intended to buy new seeds of vegetables and spices.
These teachers are indeed spicy lovers!
My supportive colleagues buying hot pepper fresh from the garden😍!
Soon after the last piece is sold, I went back to our garden with some of the most helpful students in my class to help me pull out the weeds. I was not able to attend to them for long because I had to work on my paperwork on the table for the upcoming School backyard Boy Scout Camping. I knew I can count on them in cleaning out our garden.
And they did!
I was not able to capture a photo of my weed-free garden before I went home today but I will update you tomorrow for sure😂. Always remember that life is like hot pepper, you'll never appreciate it if you'll never enjoy the spiciness within! As for me, I may have not tasted it but I yield it for those who do!
Anyway, that's all for my harvesting moments for today my Hive friends! I hope you find this post worthy of your time. I am beyond grateful to you all for reading today's experience of mine🥰. Know that I truly appreciate any extended effort and support. May the Good Lord bless you a thousand folds in return!
See you on my next blog! Sending my warm spicy big hugs and my best regards!🤗💞🌶️
