There just perhaps is something mystical about entering into a garden and feeling the flowers bloom, the trees grow green, and the water plants dance. The garden may be my sanctuary, but what surrounds me is where the beauty of nature presents itself with lotuses, rain lilies, blooms, and trees. Each individual plant is beautiful and happy in itself, and each "heart bloom" continues this feeling of being a fresh, peaceful moment.
Colorful blossoms of marigolds, roses
Besides the lotus and rain lilies, I like to see my garden full of seasonal flowers. Marigolds, hibiscus, and roses add color, warmth, smell, and butterflies and bees. I enjoy playing with seasonal combinations of flowers like sunny sunflowers to provide sunshine and little jasmine for evening smells. Each flower has its own season, so my garden looks fresh and vibrant all year long.
The Graceful Lotus and Water Lily
The lotus flower (Nelumbo nucifera) is the jewel of my garden. It is in a small pond, where the large, round leaves sit on the water surface, surrounded by the gorgeous blooms of pink and white flowers, high above the water line. The lotus represents the most pure and dignified symbol of growth and resilience. It thrives in muddy water yet remains contaminated by impurities. It is a meditation for me each day to watch the buds opening at dawn and closing at dusk. It connects me to the cycle of life. and water lilies

Tropical water lilies are hardy water lilies that survive colder climates and bloom from spring to fall, and tropical water lilies are just like lotus. Water lilies have deep symbolic meanings across cultures. In Egyptian mythology, they represent rebirth and the sun. In Buddhism, they symbolize enlightenment.
Rain Lilies: Nature’s Gift
I have more than 30-40 varieties of rain lily in my garden. Rainlily, come. After a refreshing rain shower These small, trumpet-shaped flowers bloom in shades of white, pink, and yellow. Rain lilies are low-maintenance yet incredibly rewarding, adding a touch of elegance to pathways and garden borders. Some of them have fragrance and attract butterflies and bees.
Gardening Feels Like Therapy
Working in my garden is not just a pastime for me; it is therapy. Whether I am watering the lotus, admiring the rain lilies after the rain has fallen, pruning flowering shrubs, or sitting under a tree in the shade, I am generally humbled by the peace of the garden. I recognized again how my garden has helped teach me both patience and resiliency in finding joy in growing things around me.
If you decide that you want to start your garden, I suggest you begin with plants suitable for your growing environment. Even if you can only assist in a very small space, you can create a miniature green space of happiness! Remember that your garden is not just a space but a place to grow happiness.
