Hello HiveGarden community, I think this is my first post in the community, I hope you like it. I also hope you are having a great day and have the best week possible.
I live in the middle of the city, and although it's a very green city to be honest, as there are trees everywhere, in houses like the one I live in there isn't much space for large gardens. However, people manage to have small gardens at home as much as possible, and my house is no exception.
In my case, I remember that there have always been many different plants at home, and although my grandmother (may she rest in peace) was the one who took care of the plants and liked gardening, now that she is no longer here, the task has been inherited by my mother, who continues to take care of the plants in the house. Personally, I can't say that I don't like gardening or plants; I think my grandmother somehow passed on to me a certain sensitivity for plants.
And although I am no expert on the subject, I must confess that I am a profound lover of flowers and plants. However, when it comes to plants, I must say that I am obsessed with their textures and shapes. Although nothing in nature seems to be random and everything we see is the result of the species' adaptation to its environment, However, just because something is merely adaptive, what we might call phenotypic in plants, does not mean that it lacks beauty. I have always thought that there is an indescribable beauty and order in nature, but that is another matter.
Today, Sunday, I spent most of my day organizing my week, sorting out my ideas, and in the afternoon I sat for a while in that little space that has been set aside for the garden, and it was quite pleasant not only to watch the leaves in the wind, but also to feel the wind itself on an afternoon that has been a little hot.
As I looked at the plants, I noticed that each one not only evokes something completely different, but that the sensory experience of approaching each one is completely different. At that moment, I decided to take some photos, not of all the plants, just a few. That is precisely what you can admire in this small photographic collection.
I try not to take overly conventional photos, but rather to capture only part of the plant, close enough to appreciate the texture of its leaves, their shape, and the different shades of green that can be seen.
For now, of the plants I have at home, only one seems to be flowering. I don't know about the others. As I said, I like plants, but I'm no expert on the subject, and although I'm not averse to learning a little about gardening, it's not something I'm focused on at the moment. Maybe later, on another occasion. So I hope you'll excuse any inaccuracies in this and future posts. However, I hope to improve in this regard, and any recommendations are welcome.
