Hello, happy day to all my beautiful community of gardeners, for me it is a pleasure to be here with you again, happy, thanking God for this beginning of a new day and beginning of the week where I hope that all of you do wonderfully well and that our Gardens prosper. supernaturally.
.
This weekend I was busy with many activities, both personal and work, but I did not want to miss the opportunity to capture some images where I can show you several of the species that I have in my cultivation here, as I have already told you before. I manage several species of plants and that is why I want to show you some of them in the following images.
Succulents are the plants that I grow most fluently since in addition to collecting them and having them at home I also work with them and it is a way to earn extra income for my home so that is why I take care of them as if they were little girls. (Laughs) There are two little things that I want you to notice in the images, in addition to the beauty of the plants, there are two things that I want to highlight so that you can appreciate the importance of growing succulents properly.
One of them is the substrate, this type of plants must handle a special substrate prepared with several elements which together form a final product effectively for the development and growth of our plants. This substrate is composed of the following elements or at least I use it like this, this will vary depending on the result that each grower has and the area or region where he is located, at least in the place where I live it is very hot, a hot climate and a lot of sun, which is why I prepare the substrate combined in the following way.
Potting soil
Grabilla or perlite.
Rice Husk
Aliven (Brown stones)
Eggshell
.
.
By combining all these elements I will not only have good results but I will also have a good drainage system when applying irrigation since remember that succulents are plants that cannot maintain humidity because this is their main enemy as well as it enters. The water must also come out through the pot. In this process, the roots will acquire the amount of water they need and thus be able to maintain themselves for several days until waiting for the next watering. That is why I always say that nature and God's creation is totally perfect because the plants know how much water they can take at the time of irrigation and it is up to us when we overdo it and create diseases in them. That is why my recommendation when applying irrigation to the plants It's just...
Water when the substrate is COMPLETELY DRY.
.
In this way we will not allow the plants to create excess humidity and consequently the loss of it, as you can see in each of the photographs, in the upper part of the pot you can verify the substrate that I am describing here. look at them and you see that they are the brown stones and there you can see the rest of the elements among the plants that I am showing you below are the following...

Howorthias
Mammillaria Cactus
Succulents (Echeverria, Black Prince)
I hope you liked all these photographs and I can tell you, dear friends, that taking care of plants is not easy because there are many things against it, including pests that we are often fighting to prevent from harming our plants, but taking care of them nature and seeing its evolution is something totally satisfactory so we as a gardener must enjoy each of the stages that allow us to see the plants. I am grateful to all of you that you can read these beautiful lines that I have prepared for you. May God bless you and have a happy day.
