Trees in bloom
On Friday morning when I finally got out to the gardens, I found so many things had changed out there. I hadn’t been out since the morning before and wow!
There are daffodils in almost all the gardens.
I saw violets of all types in the grass and in the gardens and walkways.
The crabapple had gone from leaf buds to flowerbuds in a couple days because of the heat. There are even buds on the lily of the valley in mid April!
The magnolia’s flowers all burst open. And the Contender peach is covered in buds about to open. I had so many photos I didn’t go over to the Little Trees II. I bet there are blossoms there too.
Not good photos of either. The serviceberry was a cloud of white and the peach tree was decidedly pink.
That heat sure brought spring on in a hurry but it will turn very cold by Sunday.
